I did a little jamming with myself (a few overdubs) last weekend,
warming up to my LesPaul.

just click the player start.
It's mostly a guitar jam but it's a ONE note bass line, but as a
previous Bass Player , I still like it, even if it may be "To Simple"
if there is such a thing. Are there any songs with just ONE bass
note ??? Ed .

Thankfully, not many. :-)
But there are plenty of guitar notes in the track to make up for it,
though.

'Land of 1000 Dances', 'Funky Broadway', and 'Shotgun' are built
essentially on one chord, but have more intricate bass lines.

'Let 'Em In' is close to a single note, but not quite.

'Everyday People' and 'Dance to the Music' have one highly syncopated
bass note with an occasional pickup thrown in.
