Schuh is rather imfamous in rec.music.makers.percussion. Yes, the
"coward" tack is a frequent refrain of his. Don't let it get too
under your skin though. Not to worry, no one who's ever been in RMMP
will mistake him as being on the moral high ground of anything. On
the plus side, he seems to make some pretty drums though, and his
online behavior these days is world better than it was, say 5 years
ago. But that's not sayin much.
On the other hand, you also have a knack for bringing out the best in
people, so without reviewing whatever spat you two are having, it
might be wise to undergo some self reflection on your role in
escalating whatever it is that's occurred.

Rob was very open and friendly when I asked him about putting me in the
right direction for the proper information pertaining to the description and
pricing of some vintage Gretsch drums that I was selling a few years ago.
There's a lot of missing history on Gretsch and most of the current staff
don't know shit. There are only a handful of people that are qualified to
accurately date them and while Rob may not officially be one of them all of
his information proved to be helpful and in the end his prices were very
close to what I was able to get piecing them out, which was his suggestion.
If you want a real circus go to the Black Sabbath usenet group and catch
Scott Lifshine aka The Wereo and his collection of weirdo's. This guy even
made it onto TV with his ridiculous obsession of the California Jam and he
has a garage video of a band he pushes called Nuclear Warrior that you just
have to see to believe. I'd look for a link but I'm tired and have to go.
