I don't even know what to say about this. I guess Captain Beefheart would be
proud.

Somewhere in Fort Worth, four douches are missing their bags.

Are they so clever that they're beyond my mortal comprehension? Or are
they just crap?

I think I may have finally found a band worse than my first ever band.

Beefheart in a head-on collision with The Shaggs.

Check out the half-hour Complete documentary on youtube and the 2008
Complete reunion show video on the guy's blog page... if you dare.

Oh man, if these guys ever did a cover of "My Pal Foot Foot"...It would be
outsider art HEAVEN.

Got a link for that blog?

To be honest, I saw The Butthole Surfers play to a crowd of thousands in
'91,and they weren't much better than this bunch, save for the drumming.

A true fan of Complete would know that they don't do no covers because
they are playing original music that comes from their heart and soul.
Anyway, their originals already sound like "My Pal Foot Foot" with lead
vocals by Howlin' Wolf on acid and alcohol.

A snide documentary about the band:

a "fan" myspace page:

http://www.myspace.com/completefanpage

and, last and least... the reunion blog (they've actually improved a
little bit, or at least come to sound slightly more conventional.
Bummer!)

I was on that Cable music show about ten years ago. In that same club
from the looks of it.

My band and the other band taping that night were not nearly as "artistic".

Bob Foster (producer) is a local booking agent for clubs.

We've had a running debate about this around here regarding COMPLETE.

Joke or just clueless?

No one knows for sure ...

Great. Now I'll have those songs running through my head all day. And,
you know, can't stop whistling them and humming them. Thanks a lot.

If that's a joke, then I am in total awe of their abilities -- they are
playing it absolutely straight, flawlessly. The guitarist is priceless.

On the other hand, if they're just clueless (as I think they are), then
they are so spectacularly clueless that it's only funny the first time,
and after that it's just sad and pathetic. Really, really sad.

The bass player makes it for me. Besides being total inbred redneck wearing
a hat that stopped being trendy 10 years before the gig...

His "two finger" technique is just AWESOME! I like the one tune where the
chords are D-G I think, and he's playing what looks like Dd-C for the entire
song! A terrific application of Ornette Coleman's harmelodic principles, if
I may say so...

Thanks. Is it me or are all four parts completely disjointed in
this one ? Awesome.
