I had heard the Duos disc but not the other two. The Solos disc is great;
lots of actual bass SONGS that stand on their own and are recorded well.My
only criticism is that there is not a lot of pocket on this disc. It's very
classical.
The Duos disc won a Grammy in it's day, and IIRC and features a lot of
Wassermann's 6 string EUB. The Most notable track is "Stardust" with Aaron
Neville.
I haven't made it to the Trios disc yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
...And I'm a guy who can count on one hand the number of "bass" albums he
owns with fingers remaining.
