One thing I noticed. Under "Vox AC30", he only lists two sets of
schematics. It's unclear exactly which models these pertain to. One is
called the "Top Boost Reissue" and the other is simply "Vox AC30". I think
the latter is the Rose Morris (90-92) version. It has a SS rectifier.
For reference, the schematicheaven site lists schematics for 14 (yes, 14!!!)
different Vox AC30 models. The older models have tube rectifiers (GZ34).
I'll stick with schematicheaven for now, at least for those old classic
amps.
For those who are unaware of this site, here's the URL:

When I worked or Pr1mo/Rose Morris era of Vox, we had about 9
that 'could be' AC30s. That was the time when the AC30 had that
'Silver' cardboard sticker on it. Still got a few unused ones, it
was a 'silver' anniv badge. They were (that era) built by the good
folks at Custom Sound, famous for the Vox 'Venue' line of SS amps.

They are great, and folks, with all the free info out there
(has been for a long long time) there are no excuses anymore.

Those Venue lines were just built badly, the designs were
not too bad, SS wise. What really sucked was the stack
called the 'Concert 100" (marshall clone). VERY FEW
were made, and the ones that came thru Marlboro Ma
(Pr1mo) fell apart in ya hands. The Concert 501 was
a neat 1-12 tube amp. Got a old AC120 combo that
(with the right tubes) is a great giging amp. Heavy..
God Bless us, because we is funky...
Making our own rules, no matter the price..
and you best believe...we NEVER think twice...
