Hi All, just thought I would say hello. I used to live in Ontario and have
spent lots of time on all the great lakes. I currently live in BC where
you can always see the other side of the lake :) , but will be returning
back to Ontario next summer. I joined to start getting caught up on
anything going on, as I have been gone for almost 10 years. When I was
there Erie was a dead lake and just about all the beaches were closed.
Currently I watch the lakes via web cam.

Anyways, just thought I would say hello . Have a great Canada Day!

Trish

Hi Trish -

Welcome!

Sometime this newsgroup is a little slow but it's fun to keep an eye on just
in case someone instigates some action!

And we're all not able to dip our toes in one of the Lakes - I'm just to the
south of you in Portland, Oregon.

Here's an interesting webcam I look at from time to time:

When going to this site and the warning pops up, click YES. When the
page opens, you will find:

A number of you have had problems viewing this page please Google for
DoD root certificate. This will give you links to places where you
can download and run the install script for the DoD root certificate.
Make sure it's a .mil site and not some hacker. I believe it will
probably be something like onr.navy.mil

Since I downloaded and installed ther DoD certificate, I have not had
any problems.
