No, I don't think so, you wimp.
Obviously, a sexist, misogynistic troll with no taste in art.
Just ignore people like that. It's their loss. And thanks for putting up
the site, it's great!:) Have you considered adding info about movies? There
is an old one called "Hundra" that I love.

Thanks for the kind words about my site. I put a lot of time into it. I
have my own copy of "Hundra" and I really loved that movie. The beginning
of the movie grips your attention with the big battle between the barbarians
and the Amazon tribe, but I liked the ending best where Hundra kills off all
the male goons. I update my blog the first Friday of every month, so hope
you visit often. As for movie, my art is strictly a 2D/3D art site as Amazon
movies are covered pretty well by Gladiatrix Info at
http://www.gladiatrix.info.com.

I guess you've never heard of Queen Boadicea who fought the Romans in
Britannia, Joan of Arc who kicked the English butts, Queen Aethelflaed of
Mercia who fought the Vikings in England, and the list just goes on and on
if you bothered to Google "women warriors". Plus, the US military had lots
of women warriors now.

I'm not sure if your site includes links as well as art. The cover of my
novel _Harald_ shows three warriors, two of them women; the original,
minus title and such, is webbed by the artist at:

Author of _Harald_, a fantasy without magic.
Published by Baen, in bookstores now
I looked at your link, but your book cover, lovely as it is, doesn't really
portray a female warrior that I can clearly see. And, yes, my blog does
include lots of links, including a large photostory library and reference
sites.

Yes, there have always been women warriors, and there still are today.
Not as many women choose that type of profession as men do, but history is
full of them and as you mentioned there are modern ones as well. And it's
really nice to see a web page like yours - thank you!:)
As for this troll...the only thing he is doing is making himself look
like the fool he is. So, I suggest ignoring him, he's certainly not worth
any of my valuable time. I put him into my twit filter.

I am glad you've seen that movie. It does have some cheesiness in it,
but any sword and scorcery type movie does usually. But that doesn't
diminish my enjoyment of the film. And everytime I see that fight where the
tribe of Amazons are all killed - except for Hundra - it hits me right in
the gut...like it was my family and tribe being killed. Like I'd seen it
before, for real, maybe in a past lifetime. I know that not everyone
believes in reincarnation, but I do - and that is just one of the reasons.
Thanks for the addy to the other site, it looks to have alot of good
stuff. But maybe, I was thinking, you might consider putting up a list of
such movies, with a bit of info about each, so other folks can know what to
look for? Such movies are rare, so I'd love such a source myself.:)

Your picture "celtic warrior woman" is from the cover of a clever game
I've got. Properly motivated, I might dig up the info for you.
I dimly recognize another, which I think is the cover of a fantasy
novel
some decades ago. Didn't care for it. 3 sisters are so wonderful that
folks start saying they are more lovely than the moon, who personifies
and whacks 'em one at a time in single combat.
Please take another look at the cover of Friedman's book. I imagine
that he specifically asked the artist to give them armour which
actually
protects them, rather than fantasy symbolism. When I was in the
service,
gals still were issues stuff designed to make them less attractive,
and it
was quite an exercise in personal development to see more, see better,
with less data available. We learned to identify friends at a distance
from
sublteties of carriage.

Thanks for comment. What I tell my visitors is if they don't like the music,
all they gotta do is either turn down the speaker volume or use the Windows
sound volume control that should be on your desktop toolbar. But, I have
lots of visitors who love the cool Conan theme music so I keep it.
