Of course, Genuine Fractals is a total hoax.

I tried to instal the Genuine Fractals in W2K and Photoshop 7.0 CE,
without success, of course. No prospect. During the start the GF reports
a fault windows with Code 1039. And stop all.
Nice day for everybody.

You are right. I forget sometimes that people use software for fun,
entertainment, good things like that. I was really crabby from the day
job where image processing is sometimes a total grind.

OP - good luck. Enjoy.

More likely "John J" <no...@droffats.ten> is a total hoax?

Hi Van,

You can install version 3.5 on PS 7. I have it installed on my PC, but
I don't know about the newer versions. For newer than version 3.5
you'll have to do a Google search for the Genuine Fractal software,
since it has changed hands from LizardTech and I've noticed that the new
version is at least up to version 6.

Noel Carboni has some great Photoshop actions which do many different
chores in Photoshop. The sharpening actions require that Genuine
Fractals is installed. These actions are very good, but they do cost a
small amount ($15 I think)and are worth every penny. Here's the link:
http://actions.home.att.net/

BTW, I have nothing to do with Noel's business, I am just answering a
question and giving a link to some worthwhile actions to use with the
program you requested info about.
