High res files to print posters?

Hi,
does exist any tool that elaborates a file(photo) of good quality to be
printed in a poster size like 50x70cm or 70x100 cm?

Any tips?

Do you mean by assembling a pile of 8x10s? Or do you just want to take
the file to a commercial printer and have him do it?
