So, anyway, I've dabbled in digital photo, using Photoshop LE 4.0
and soon I hope to get the full version of 6!
One of my goals, is to create mixed media pieces that are
anywhere from 3 x 3' to 6 x 8'. I was looking at an Epson 2000
which can do 'archival' prints that won't fade. While I save up
for that purchase, I'm considering working with Photoshop
on collage-like panels that I can piece together to cover, say,
a 6 x 6' canvas (painting).
Does anyone have experience doing anything like this,
which involves creating a large piece, using segments?
Is it possible to just start with a large pixel background,
and then just zoom in to, say, 8x10" sections, to work on
details? I imagine this would be pretty easy to do.
I'll experiment. ...Please email me, if you have any advice
about creating large compositions. Thanks! -doug
