been using PS for a little over a year now and 3 days ago picked up a
graphire2 (after reading here how much better it is then a mouse). all I
can say is if you do not have a tablet, RUN do not walk to the nearest place
and get one. The control difference is indescribable and the quality of my
work (personal) has gone up dramatically in 3 days. I can only imagine how
it will be when I get very used to it.

But only if you come from real world art background: scetching,
drawing, painting. Otherwise you will have a hard time "doodling".

Wait a few weeks, then try going back to the mouse.
It feels like trying to draw wearing ski gloves. That's
to say nothing of the sheer speed you can move your
cursor around with a tablet.

No, you would'nt have trouble when your doodling.
I think , what your trying to say is, If your not planning
on doing real drawing, painting or constructive art, then don't bother.

I hardly ever use mine, but when I do want to, My wacom is
Fault proof.
