Dry Brush Effect

I have been trying a tutorial that uses the dry brush effect, but no matter
how I fiddle with the settings, I can't seem to get mine to look anywhere
near what the tutorial has. The tutorial is at

I am unsuccessful at step 9. The drop shadow is no trouble, but when they
call for the dry ink brush and I go to Effects/Artistic/Dry Brush (I can't
find dry INK brush) I just can't get the look they have at all. What am I
missing?

Ah ha! Just when I was typing this, I had a thought. So I tried it out: I
was supposed to go to the brushes pallette and use the dry ink there! It's
not exactly the same as they have, but it's a heckuvalot closer! Too cool. I
just love doing tutorials. I always learn something!
