Subject: Insight: Violence creeping into Mexican capital"-Yahoo News
Mexico, an interesting and tragic case. I recall reading recently,
that Mexico had only one legal
firearms dealer. So their gun control is a little more advanced than
Canada's.
Decades of strict "gun control" keeps the citizens in check, in fear,
of corrupt agents of the state and violent criminals, who are sometimes
the exact same people. A nation with 10 times higher murder rate than
Canada's and a 100 time higher murder rate for Cuidad Juarez.
I sometimes wonder what would happen if "The Magnificent Seven"
model were adapted. That was a Westernized version of "The Seven
Samurai"(worth renting). The government model of
Justice clearly isn't working there.
The comments section after the article is interesting, too.
