Dark Side of the Net and Gothic.Net present the 1997 Gothic Art Parody
Contest.

Artists! Take a well-known painting by a well-known artist, and make it
gothic, horrific, or vampiric - just for fun! Turn a Degas ballerina
into
a tutu-wearing skeleton; give Venus on the Half Shell vampire fangs and
a
cape; make a cheerful Mary Cassatt family into a gothic, depressing
scene.

We're *dying* to see the spooky creation you can concoct!

Deadline is January 1, 1998.

The winner and runner-up (determined by our dark side webmaster judges)
will recieve a Gothic Goodie Box (tm) full of sillygoth things and maybe
neat books and music!
