The _Washington Post_ does a fine retrospective of Count Gore de Vol,
a one-time fixture of late-night television in the Greater Washington
Metropolitan Region. Starting out as a local-station Bozo in Paducah,
he made his way to the capital as a Bozo, then branched out to become
Captain 20 as well as Count Gore de Vol. Clearly this was one of the
hardest-working men in show-business at the time, and despite some
years of absence from the broadcast media, he celebrates a decade of
internet presence and will be hosting various spooky celebrations of
film and weirdness in upcoming dates in Northern Virginia.

of course being Bozo is very special and is the highest honor of being
a clown amongst other clowns, and i am not clowning when i say that.

PS; i used to watch The Deadly Ernest Horror Show every time it was on
late night on Sky channel in the early 80s. he was the best, slept in
a coffin. But, to add to the sleeze, they replaced the first Deadly
Ernest with a completely differen guy next season. He was not as cool
as the first DE! anyone here have the same fondness for 80s Sky
channel?
