IMO, as an artist myself, I'm not sure there's any such thing as
current 'gothic artwork' as a style. There's art that goths like and relate
to, and there's art that goths make, but neither of these things are always
Gothic in and of themselves. Then there's historical gothic art &
architecture, and the gothic revival of the victorian era, and this would lead
to a long discussion the the term Gothic, which has been gone over to death
(pun, pun), so I won't get into it. There was actually a 'Gothic Art' show at
the Institute of Contemporary Art last spring here in Boston, and it got very,
very mixed reviews from both goths and 'normals' alike, regarding whether or
not it was 'gothic'.
ANYWAY, that said, I think I do know what style you are looking for.
Here's a site of a friend of mine:

Also try American Showcase's web site--industry catalogs of illustrators,
graphic designers, & new media--and look for the work especially in the 'new
media' section. (sorry I don't have the URL offhand)
(btw, just to be frank, any artist over 17 years old is looking to put
food on the table, so I wouldn't expect many freebies, unless you're looking
to merely borrow the art)
Hope that helps
