Ok everyone here is this weeks poll...

What's the most non-goth thing you have done with a group of goths?

Would you do it again?

thanks!

Cruise to the tropics! and have fun in the sun!
This also ties with playing on the beach.

In the spirit of this newsgroup, anything I do with a bunch of goths
is inherently goth so were I a computer in a cheesy 60's sci fi novel
I would explode.

Fortunately I'm not, so I won't.

Clearly.

Hahah! Good times my friend. I was there for both of those things.
Take away my goth card! ;)

I have fond memories of Ian and Keith going down the water at
Margaritaville!

I wanna go again!

It's a toss up between singing karaoke in a sports bar and being
unabashedly touristy at a theme park in Orlando, where apparently my
complexion was shocking enough to cause random women I didn't know to
approach me and asked in a concerned, motherly way, "You're wearing
sun block, aren't you?"

> Would you do it again?

It all depends on the neighborhood in which the sports bar is located
and/or the theme park in question.

I think I have eaten at a sports bar full off fans
at every Convergence I've been to.

> Would you do it again?

Hell yes!

`una - would rather not eat at a sports bar, but
it beats the hell out of one more death march for food.

I'd have to say it was a gross out party. Everyone had to bring a dish that
was completely edible, but gross. I won with a kitty litter cake. No one
would eat it... not even me.

Sure, but I think I'd tone down the gross facter a notch, it's a shame to
waste food like that...

Try googling for deep shit cookies.

The human makes rat cakes.

You take disposable tiny loaf pans, and pinch them into shape till they
are round at one end and pointy at the other. Fill them with cake batter
(a box of cake mix makes 8 rats) Pu tthem on a cookie sheet with the
pointy ends slightly raised. This gives the finished rats a ratty
humpback sort of look.

When done, decorate. Gummi worm or licorice tails, candy corn ears, roudn
red hot candy eyes. Finally slit their little tummioes and pipe in some
red frosting "guts."

We've only made solid colored rats but you migth make hooded rats if you
are ambitious.

Most people think a rat is too much to eat all at once. So you can eat
the head end and save the butt end for a friend. they you get to tell
them you *do* give a rat's ass.

I'm not with goths often enough to have done much of anything with them
in the first place.
