To those living in the USA and reading this: yes, you are reading the
title correctly.

The United States Congress, along with the FDA and support from
tobacco company Phillip Morris (in a bid to ease competition) has
drafted a bill that proposes to BAN all flavored tobacco...including
the much beloved clove cigarette. This will also ban all flavored
tobacco that one uses in hookas. In fact, it may wipe out a good
portion of hooka lounges.

This is a bill that has been in the works for at least a year now and
yesterday is the first time I heard of it.

Here are some links to educate yourself:

The bill is entitled the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control
Act.

Please call your congressman and senators (each state has two
senators) to urge them to oppose this bill.

To find your congressional representative, visit http://www.house.gov/
and enter your zip code in the upper left hand side of the page. To
find your senator, visit http://www.senate.gov/ and find them via
the search function on the upper right hand side of the page.

You know, I think, if it got rid of menthol cigarettes, I'd settle for
rolling my own cloves.

45. I will make sure I have a clear understanding of who is responsible for
what in my organization. For example, if my general screws up I will not
draw my weapon, point it at him, say "And here is the price for failure,"
then suddenly turn and kill some random underling. --Evil Overlord List

Good idea. I'll have to research a method of creating a nice, illicit,
blend. That is: if this retarded law is passed in the first place.

Looks like it's only a "George W. Bush" away from being law now. 's
funny, all the kids that I know that smoke puff on filter Camels, not
flavored tobaccos like cloves. And I'd imagine that flavored pipe
tobacco outsells all the Zanzibar and Djarum imports, and that's old-man
stuff.

76. If the hero runs up to my roof, I will not run up after him and struggle
with him in an attempt to push him over the edge. I will also not engage
him at the edge of a cliff. (In the middle of a rope-bridge over a river
of molten lava is not even worth considering.) --Evil Overlord List
