I would. I did The Artist's Way once, but never finished. I would
like to do the whole thing. Anyone interested?

me Me ME!!! I keep trying to get into some sort of writing group and
they've all fallen apart. This is something I'm very serious about. If
this pans through, keep me posted!

OK, well, if there's just a small number of us, I guess it could thru e-mail
rather than egroups. What do you think?
Btw, there are three Julia Cameron books:
1) The Artist's Way (how to connect w/ your creativity)
2) The Vein of Gold (more of the same, actually)
3) Riding the Dragon (for everyone, how to be creative in your work)
and there are also spoken word books, which are a little bit different.
So, if we followt he bks, there are weekly assignments and it's just
like a little bit of writing and making dolls and such, and then you go
back to the group and just talk about your experiences.

I'm interested as well! I'm always up for ways to work on my writing.
Are these books pretty easy to find?

I think it could work through email. I vote we start with 'The Artist's
Way' mostly because I have it sitting in my bookcase. I've done quite a
bit in it, but not for a while, so I'd like to get through that book
before starting another one.
Anyone else?

Yes, these books are generally easy to find in bookstores like Barnes &
Noble and Borders. If you can't find them, you can order through
Amazon.com.

I'm interested, if there's still room. I did Riding the Dragon,
so The Artists Way sounds interesting. I'd vote for that one.

I got The Artist's Way off ebay. It's also available on
www.abebooks.com. No need to buy it new, it's been printed a jillion
times.

Uh, well, nothing's happened yet. You should be able to find the
Julia Cameron books in the library as well. I guess we'll start with
the Artist's Way. Is starting after c6 OK?

When I worked at Waldenbooks I heard a lot of good things about The
Artist's Way and I'd love to go through it. I want to read the two
books the bookclub is doing first, but I'd be interested in this as
well. Why don't you start an e-mail list on egroups.com like the agf
bookclub?
'tis for me.
thank you.

After C6 is great for me as well.
Thanks Sande!

I'm not sure, but I think the Artist's Way is better done in small-ish
groups (maybe 5 or 6 ppl) Would anyone who has gone thru the
book comment?
Incidentally, if you're interested in agf writers circle, would you e-mail
me? Cuz I'm not getting full headers on this newsreader and I
can't see the e-mail addresses unless someone is quoting. We'd
probably have to find some way to have a private group chat.
