White (Albino) contact lenses: Suggestions

Hi all,

I recently had the idea of buying a pair of contact lenses of the
white type (sometimes listed as Albino or White-Out) and I found that
are two manufacturers that sell in my city: Crazy Lenses and Wild Eyes
2 GO (by Ciba).
Do someone of you have experience with the brands I listed? Can anyone
compare the two?
Keep in mind that it will be my first time using contact lenses... I
need to know which one feels more comfortable and which one lasts more
time (I think about buying the monthly ones) without using them daily
(I only plan to wear them to go to parties or to go out for the
weekend).
Please, tell me your own experiences... and thanks in advance =)

I think it's very important to be careful with contact lenses as they can
damage your eyes quite badly if you do silly things with them like leave
them in all night and things. Although it might be quite expensive, you may
wish to pay a trip to your local opticians and see if they do jazzy lenses;
mine does. And while they'd probably be more expensive, they'll probably
also be better quality.

Just to derail slightly, did anyone see those recent photos of an artist
who had some mirrored contact lenses made, and then waffled about how he
was 'inverting' his eyes? Despite the pretentious guff, the lenses
themselves looked *amazing*. I want. :)

yeah i have used both and the wild eyes are better .
they are the ones i use on a regular basis .

I don't know if you're aware of this, but all of the information that
I've read previously about "white-out" lenses is that you cannot
actually see out of them because they cover your pupil and iris. Just
thought I would mention that (I'm sure it isn't much fun to be
clubbing and not be able to see much). Unless you mean the kind that
only shows the pupil, in which case you should totally ignore this.

you can in fact obtain a slight mirror effect on a blank lens .

Your eye doctor can guide you the best in choosing the type of contact lenses. If you purchase contact lenses online, you will have to provide a signed prescription.
