Dear A.G.F.,

You used to be G.A.F. Now look at you! You need some T.L.C. Or a
new location.
Dear lurkers, any thoughts?

Celena (who used to be here a whole lot in the mid 90's)

I wish I knew. :(
Still, so long as the occasional non-spam post appears, I'll stay
subscribed.

LOL. Let me know how that works for you :)

Although now that I think of it, how about an app that cross-posts your
FB updates to a.g.f ... ? :-)

Meh, so much spam; it's like driving through thick fog. I didn't mean
that in any kind of romantic sense.

Ages ago, before the dark ships came, were not USENET groups moderated to defend against spammers?

I completely miss reading the posts and posting every so often. I loved doing the swaps too and still that the most!! It's been probably 10 years since I did a swap but I still have (I think) most everything I got in them! My favorite one was the GitD one I was in.

I vote definitely for a members-only group. The spam is quite annoying.
As far as C19 goes - I'm trying to see how my work schedule is going to be. Trying to go. Would be my first time at Convergence :)

This will be my first too. I was on AGF in the 1990's, but never made it out to one. After last year's I finally talked DH into going...so we will be there. Doesn't hurt that it's in our city this time ;)

Oh! How lucky you are! :)
I'm concerned my work schedule isn't going to allow for it :( but I'm still trying!
