...This coming Spring's fashion trends seem to be old styles pulled
out of hat, well barrel and put together without too much regard for
authenticity of time referrences. Why shop retail this year? Go to
thrift stores and find outfits that are "new to you." You'll probably
look better if you do. The lack of any really new trends this year is
probably due to the state of the economy. I like retro, and I usually
wear Victorianesq dress clothing or casual wear. I do like to have a
few stylish outfits to wear when I need to appear more mainstream. I
will have to update my old suits with some new accessories unless I
find a "new to me" suit at a thrift store. I would love to hear your
solution to this Spring's fashion problems.

Just a couple of months ago, I finally started sewing clothing again, so
there will be some fitted vests added to my wardrobe, and some altering of
clothes (like making homely dresses into cute skirts).

Of course, I am still jobless, so who knows what clothing will be job
appropriate when I finally find something. It may be a MacDonald's uniform
(most horrible idea on earth)

Another year of t-shirt and pants for me.
