Just sharing, in that constant quest to raise AGF from the dead ;)

I don't like to think of myself as a shallow person, but...

Lately, many of my dreams involve shopping for clothes, even though
the shopping part is *always* peripheral. Typically, I'm being chased
by a psychotic killer, I've been separated from DH and trying to find
my way back, I'm marching off to war while conservative housewives
give me thumbs up, or I'm a child at an amusement park that's been
taken over by ninjas (yes, I've dreamt it), or some other dreamlike
scenario.

But in almost every dream I can recall over the past week (about 3), I
have at some point found myself clothes-shopping, and the clothes are
AWESOME. Tonight I'll start keeping a sketchbook on my night stand so
I can draw these in the mornings before I forget, should it happen
again.

Has anyone else had clothing dreams? Does anyone here interpret
dreams?

I've had clothing dreams, and while in the dreams the clothes seem awesome,
when I wake up and remember what they look like, they're ridiculous. I
remember one where I pulled out this really unique piece from a clothing
rack; upon wakening, I remembered it as a red corduroy skirt with attached
suspendered, which had white fake fur on them.

*ack*

I do hope your dream clothing is better!

I also dream of fabric shops a lot, and in them, all I find is fabric that
is either ugly or has childish prints. I find this very frustrating.

If anyone here does interpret dreams, I'd love to know what these mean!

I dunno... That piece COULD work. Possibly on someone no older than
about 25, but .... upgrade the fur, maybe.

Yes, Java is so bulletproofed that to a C programmer it feels like being in a
straightjacket, but it's a really comfy and warm straightjacket, and the world
would be a safer place if everyone was straightjacketed most of the time.

Last night, I had some sort of nightmare with no clothes shopping;
drats.

I've had some of those in the past; I guess I'm having a pretty good
streak right now. I know the feeling--you wake up excited about a new
idea, and then your stomach sinks when you realize your dream self has
awful taste.

That sounds like a Project Runway challenge--take this hideous
concept, and make it work! Well, it sounds Christmas-ish to me. How
was the fur attached to the suspenders? Did it span the length of the
suspenders, or just the shoulders? I'm imagining a cutesy winter-time
apron, now.

Yeah. They were black Lucchese western boots with a 7 toe and a Riding

Sigh.

They were beautiful.
