Thank you to everyone involved.
Seattle, I hope you continue to attend Convergence and come back with
an even stronger bid another year.
Omaha, I hope you don't. Nothing personal.
Long Beach, my congratulations AND my condolences. You have your next
ten months cut out for you. :-)
Siobhan

You lie!
However, as this means that you are less likely to kill me, I
appreciate the thought.

Yay! ::clapclapclap ::
Wow I thought there would have been more people voting considering how
much traffic the ratifications generated. Ah well I am one of the few
that do vote cause I want my voice to be heard, even though I didnt
say anything during the ratification.

Yeah, this makes me really really sad. I know that traffic is down but
I would of hoped that more people were interested in at least voting.

Seriously, only 163 votes? That's just sad.
well.. to be fair.. there hasn't been a statement on how many votes
had to be thrown out to insure that the cool kids got the winner that
they wanted.
Oddly enough I never recieved my ping, even though I was at C9. Oh
well. I don't have to travel far for this one either!
Ping went out on the Jul 24th, when the bids were posted. x. You created
an account on the 26th, which I suspect means that you were adequately
notified somehow. Your prior email address is marked "invalid" meaning
either you turned it off by requesting an activation key and then not
following it up, or a prior communication email bounced. The latter's
more likely since the domain doesn't exist anymore.

68. I will spare someone who saved my life sometime in the past. This is only
reasonable as it encourages others to do so. However, the offer is good
one time only. If they want me to spare them again, they'd better save my
life again. --Peter Anspach's list of things to do as an Evil Overlord

Congratulations to the Long Beach Committee -- can't wait to see y'all
next year!!
WE'RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER BOAT. Muah-hah-hah.
Ping TheOneBob -- after its ceremonial crushing, does the mechanical
shark still work? I think it needs to make an appearance in the pool
next year . . . ;D

Oh please, cry me a fuckin river. Such crap is below even high school
mentality. Just be happy that some people made an effort to congregate
in the first place.

Not to mention the fact that the C*b*l is way too busy and has better
ways to spend their time than to toss out votes.

I'm really excited! It will be great to see everyone again, and
experience something and somewhere new!
I don't know what number my vote actually was, but henceforth I
would like

Hi, by the way! Welcome!
Actually, neither did I, though I didn't notice until it was too late
to have done anything about it anyway. Ah well, the bid I'd have voted
for won anyway, so I don't feel TOO horrible about not voting ...
