And he left such a mess we are STILL cleaning up after him. We only just
recently got GM back into shape, and the financial industry is looking
healthy again even if they won't cooperate in the general economic
recovery by being a little more eager to make loans. The financial
industry has new regulation designed to prevent a future meltdown
(despite Republican foot dragging and attempts to prevent its passage).
All things considered, and while there is still quite a bit of Bush mess
to go, things are looking up. By the time Obama's re-election campaign
is in full swing, the economy should be roaring, healthcare insurance
reform should be kicking in and folks will be able to see what it is for
real and like it, the wars will be all but over completely, gay marriage
bans will have failed and the society will not have collapsed. All in
all it is looking very good for Obama (not so good for you).
BTW, Dubya Bush is known as the worst president in history not Carter.
There is no displacing him either.
