Journalists had a rare chance to ask Joe Biden a few questions
Wednesday and — of course — failed to ask him anything about his
knowledge of his son’s business dealings.
Even though former ally Tony Bobulinski gave sitdown interviews
with Fox News and The Post’s Michael Goodwin outlining in detail
his evidence disproving Joe’s repeated claims of lifelong
ignorance of son Hunter’s profitable affairs.
And even though Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was testifying to the
Senate about the company’s censoring of stories about the
Bidens. Two big developments that the press felt wasn’t worthy
of mention.
What questions should media be asking Joe Biden, nonstop?
For starters: Why did you talk to Bobulinski — twice in 24
hours? Hunter introduced him as “the one who’s helping us with
the business we’re doing with the Chinese” — how does that not
debunk your claim that you never discussed that business with
Hunter or your brother Jim?
What did you mean when you told Tony, “I trust you,” and, the
next day, “Look out for my family”? Did it in fact have
something to do with the 10 percent of the deal’s profits that
the partners discussed reserving for “the big guy”?
No one in Biden’s family or campaign has denied that Joe was who
the partners meant by “the big guy.” They merely issue blanket
condemnations of The Post’s reporting on these scandals.
Bobulinski has e-mails, texts, photos, witnesses, receipts and
other documents to back up his claims. He’s shared everything
with the FBI and Senate investigators.
He stepped up after the likes of Rep. Adam Schiff and various
media ostriches and Big Tech would-be censors suggested The
Post’s exposés from Hunter’s laptop were really nothing but
Russian disinformation. He also notes that no one from Facebook
or Twitter has reached out to check his claims and The Post’s
reporting, even though both social-media companies have actively
suppressed the damning-to-Joe-Biden news.
Bobulinski emphasizes that the Biden group recruited him to
start the China deal back in 2015, while Joe was still vice
president — and that Hunter said the Chinese already owed the
Biden family tens of millions at that point.
And of course Hunter’s and Jim’s merchandizing of Joe’s
influence goes back decades, involving far more that Hunter’s
lucrative payments from Burisma.
Which leads to a few more questions for Joe Biden: How can you
claim you didn’t know that, for decades, Jim and Hunter traded
on promises they could influence you? Or that, after you became
vice president, they took that sleaze global? Are you so
ignorant of how things work that you really believed they earned
millions in fields where they had zero expertise, when their
only asset was . . . you?
If Joe Biden had answers to any of this, he’d surely speak up.
Instead, it looks like he’ll keep dodging through Election Day —
and, shockingly, he can count on his allies in the press and Big
Tech to keep the scandal as low-profile as possible.
It’s a disinformation campaign, all right — to protect Biden.
