Michael Jackson tried to adopt Octomum Nadya Suleman嚙踝蕭s eight babies just
weeks before he died.

It emerged last night that the King of Pop approached penniless Suleman
offering to take care of the tots in return for cash.

Jacko, 50, desperate for a larger family, was concerned at reports
Suleman was considering giving the children up for adoption.

He ordered aides to launch a charm offensive on Suleman嚙踝蕭s publicist
Victor Munoz.

Victor was called three times by Jacko嚙踝蕭s people who quizzed him about
his client and told him that Jackson was prepared to help.

Then Jackson 嚙碾 who already had children Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and
seven-year-old Prince Michael II, known as Blanket 嚙碾 called Victor
personally.

He said: 嚙踝蕭Blanket would love to have more siblings. I could take care of
all the babies, they could live with me and wouldn嚙踝蕭t need for anything.
They would have a bright future.

嚙踝蕭I want to take care of Nadya. She will be happy and won嚙踝蕭t have to worry
about caring for her children any more.嚙踝蕭

Jacko was amazed by news footage of octuplets Malia, Jonah, Isaiah,
Nariah, Jeremiah, McCai, Josiah and 嚙踝蕭the blond one嚙踝蕭 Noah.

And he clearly believed his star power could convince the Octomum, who
already had six children, to hand over her latest offspring.

Victor said: 嚙踝蕭When Michael called I thought it was a joke at first. I
was getting hundreds of calls every day and many from celebrities嚙踝蕭
agents saying their client wanted to help.

嚙踝蕭But when the person on the end of the line said 嚙踝蕭Hi it嚙踝蕭s Michael
Jackson嚙踝蕭 I was a bit taken aback. Michael wanted to know how the babies
were, how Nadya was coping.

嚙踝蕭He then said he could take care of the children if Nadya couldn嚙踝蕭t. It
was creepy. He was basically offering to buy the children. I was a bit
shocked.嚙踝蕭 Unemployed single mum Suleman, 33, gave birth to the octuplets
in January after IVF.

She had appeared on networks across America saying she was 嚙踝蕭struggling嚙踝蕭.

Her own mum Angela blasted her decision to have eight more babies as
嚙踝蕭unconscionable.嚙踝蕭 And she hinted Suleman was considering options
including adoption. 嚙踝蕭How she嚙踝蕭s going to cope I don嚙踝蕭t know,嚙踝蕭 she said.

嚙踝蕭I嚙踝蕭m really tired of taking care of the six children and need her to
think about how she嚙踝蕭ll provide for all these children.嚙踝蕭

To compound the family嚙踝蕭s problems, pictures from inside Suleman嚙踝蕭s
three-bedroom home showed the squalor they were living in. Sheets were
used as curtains, food was splattered on walls and dirty laundry was
strewn everywhere. Last night the Mirror tried to contact Jackson嚙踝蕭s
representatives over the story but none were available.

Ex-estate agent Victor, 33, said: 嚙踝蕭Michael clearly thought Nadya was
unfit and decided he wanted to help those children.嚙踝蕭

He said a Jackson aide first made contact at the end of February. 嚙踝蕭The
man asked how Nadya was holding up, how the children were and said that
his client wanted to help. The conversation meant nothing to me, my head
was overloaded with all the calls coming in.嚙踝蕭

A few days later a second call came from a man claiming to be Jackson嚙踝蕭s
attorney.

Victor said: 嚙踝蕭It was more of the same. This guy was asking about the
family and how everything was going. I thought it was weird they kept
calling, I realised they were trying to become friendly. To me that
meant they wanted something.嚙踝蕭

The third call came from Jackson himself. 嚙踝蕭Afterwards I went on to
Youtube to listen to Michael Jackson嚙踝蕭s voice. I couldn嚙踝蕭t believe he had
called me directly,嚙踝蕭 explained Victor.

嚙踝蕭A number of people, some celebrities, had asked about adopting but none
had called me in person. The implication was that if Nadya decided to
give the kids up Michael Jackson wanted to be first in line.

嚙踝蕭It wasn嚙踝蕭t as if he was trying to broker a deal there and then. But he
made it clear he wanted to adopt them. He sounded genuine. He was
genuinely concerned about the children. He asked if they were all going
to be healthy.

嚙踝蕭But I just blew it off. I knew Nadya would never want to get rid of her
kids so it wasn嚙踝蕭t important.嚙踝蕭

Two days later another Jacko aide contacted Victor, thanking him for
talking to the star. 嚙踝蕭This guy was really giving me the sales pitch,嚙踝蕭
said Victor. 嚙踝蕭It was almost like I was supposed to take the hint.

嚙踝蕭He told me Michael could make Nadya happy, he said she would be
compensated.嚙踝蕭

Victor never did tell Suleman about Jackson嚙踝蕭s bizarre request.

On March 6 he stopped working for the Octomum after a string of rows.

嚙踝蕭I was going to tell her about the calls. It was all kind of a joke. She
would have loved it as she gets starstruck,嚙踝蕭 said Victor.

嚙踝蕭But we had started arguing a lot by this time. It was like working with
a child, she was completely draining.嚙踝蕭

Eurgh. Wacko still scoping out fresh meat. The emphasis on "the
blond one" was downright creepy.
