I wonder if she regrets doing the Wild Thornberrys now, especially
with the blasphemous talking
monkey named Darwin and all...

(from E! Entertainment's website)

Lacey Chubert (Party of Five, Wild Thornberrys, Mean Girls) now
regrets doing _Family Guy_,
according to an upcoming article in People magazine.

The 24 year old actress, who has seen success in both animation,
television, and cinema,
voiced the character "Meg Griffin" for the first season of _Family
Guy_ in 1999. The show was
initially canceled in 2000, and when it returned for 2001 she had been
replaced by Mila
Kunis (_That 70's Show_).

Lacey now expresses remorse and regret over this decision, and says
this along with the
film _Black Christmas_ is a blemish on her career.

"When I first signed on to voice the character, I had no idea what the
show was about,",
says the young actress, who has also done plays and musicals like _Les
Miserables_.
"As soon as I read the scripts, I paled. Here were the most anti-
Christian, anti-moral,
anti-human words I had ever read being committed to paper as "jokes"
to entertain
children and young adults! I felt like I had sold my soul to the
devil."

Chubert was unable to extract herself from the show due to an already
signed
contract; however she requested and was removed from the credits of
_Family Guy_.

"The whole time I felt so terrible. It was like prostitution or
something. All those jokes
about Jesus, who is my Savior and Christ. The words I had to recite
came out of my
mouth like rusty nails, and I could feel my soul bleed as I betrayed
my Lord for thirty
pieces of silver."

Chubert also claims that she was the victim of practical jokes on the
set and that
she was targeted for her beliefs.

"One time they took my cross of the Lord necklace while I was changing
my clothes
in a trailer and hid it for three days, until I found it floating in a
cup of V8 spiked with
some kind of liquor. Then they called me "Bloody Mary" for months
after that and
the one producer (Seth McFarlane, producer and voice of many
characters on
_Family Guy_) would always do that stupid laugh under his breath every
time I walked
by. You know, the one the dad does."

Chubert says that now she is in a better place emotionally, and enjoys
a healthy family
life with her parents and siblings. She recently did a pilot for FOX
but it was not picked
up. She also posed for Maxim in January 2007.

"It's better now. I go to church twice a week, sometimes three if I
need a spiritual boost.
Praise the Lord!"

thank dawkins (and the producers of course) for Family Guy its one of
the funniest thing americans have given us since syphalis.

She also posed for Maxim in January 2007.

So posing in a bikini for the onanist practices of 14year old boys
isnt against any kind of christian creed or anything then?

"It's better now. I go to church twice a week, sometimes three if I
need a spiritual boost.
Praise the Lord!"

ah well, makes it alright then!

God is more likely to forgive her for "Family Guy" than
"Party of Five", but I'm guessing He
enjoyed the Maxim spread in any case.

I talked to god today (while I was on the john) and he said that Lacey is
going to hell. Not for family guy, but for Lost in Space. God said
that stunk on shit! But god told me that she can save herself, if she
goes nude for playboy and do a lesbo scene. (actually, god didn't tell me
that part, but he did for LiS, I mean a movie with Matt LeBlanc?)

"Onanist practices?" That's the first time I've heard that term used
for a long, long time! As far as the bikini goes, she is talking about
Christianity -- not Islam.

Someone believes in God, and she's an airhead. Just wait until you
hear about the Dem candidates. I am sure that most of them will claim
they "believe in God." Bill Clinton does. So I guess that makes him an
airhead?

Probably not for that, but she may if she ever realizes that
Nickelodeon is notorious for allowing pretty much anything Jewish to
be mentioned on its shows, but you won't find one mention of the name
Jesus anywhere (even on shows that have Easter specials) - the closest
they come is when someone says "Baby J" on one show and (when
referring to a manger scene) "the baby in the hay" in another.

(Oh, and her last name is Chabert, isn't it?)

She is pretty hot without makeup, I'll grant her that, but I have to
wonder what got her into a "better place," posing for Maxim or going to
church? Somehow, I think her charms would be more appreciated at Maxim

LACEY CHABERT (the wonder woman of christianity and spiritual
descendent of Mary Magdelene)

Chubert.....Chubert.....Chubert.....it is CHABERT! (Frankly thouhg she
and her character were close to the Mel Blanc Looney Tuns type
characters, esp.Sylvester's kitten and H-B's Augie Doggie in
characteristic..the whole "I'm so disapooinited in my dad" thing"..)
but she deserved not this show but others.

And I loved her in Mean Girls.

"I'm too---BLONDE for you?"-Reese Witherspoon, "Legally Blonde"(2001).
