Britney Murphy publicist concerns

several BI's floating around concerning her love life. She has had a number
high profile relationships with men but she is in fact a "committed"
(whatever that means) Lesbian and her recent public smooching sessions with
one actress or an other (Winona's supposed to be in there somewhere) are not
just for "she's so hip and modern," publicity. Her people are worried that
the recent neutral reaction to her "bi" appearances are going to lure her to
"come out" completely and they feel she isn't a big enough star yet for such
a revelation to do more than make more than a temporary scandal. Right now,
Britney is on the short list to be the next "Meg Ryan" or "Goldie Hawn."
Britney's handlers see a lucrative career ahead for her if she will control
her "tendency" towards "aggressiveness." Don't ask, I don't know what that
last sentence means either. I'm just recapping.
By the way, my sources say that the entire affair with Mr. Kutcher was
"bought and paid for" as is Ashton's current affair with Demi. My sources
also say that the key to all this lies in the links in their respective
management, publicity representatives.

Like it wasn't half obvious:
the relationship explodes from nowhere into the public arena in a
blaze of publicity;
and they looked so awkward and strained together - not like a "couple"
at all.

You'd think her people would be more concerned about her apparent anorexia
(that may or may not be the result of a drug addiction). I'd say that's going
to be her undoing more so than coming out.

Thanks, Ambrose. None of this is any surprise to most of us, but it's
nice to have some corroboration to our nattering. Especially when it
comes to Ketchup's involvement with Murphy and Moore. Somehow, I hope
her publicists keep her in rein until she makes a big enough name for
her that it no longer matters what is her sexual preference. But maybe
that's just me. I sure as hell don't care.
In fact, I don't care much about what she does. Or doesn't. All of
these young actresses and actors are interchangeable as far as I'm
concerned. None of them seem to have any distinct personalities or
looks.

Isn't she also a bulimic/junkie/emotional problems type? Adding lesbianism into
that mix and it's a publicity nightmare.

Is she passing them the crack pipe? Her latest movie (Uptown Girls) didn't even
make $15 million the opening weekend, did it? She's too trashy and
freaky-looking, like one of those deranged people who wash their hands 30 times
in truck stop bathrooms. She's more like a Tuesday Weld than a Meg or Goldies,
because she is so offcenter inside.

It's Brittany. I'm not trying to be a dick. I like her for some reason.
Her looks aren't her biggest asset in my opinion. I don't think that is the
only draw to her, but I can see the concern. I think it's sad that she has
to conform just so that she MIGHT be this or that. I'd still like her if
she didn't have relationships with guys.

who's hands get caught trying to purloin a pearl. I'm posting it here
because I can't find a second source which would allow me to sell it.
Incidentally, I'm hearing that some star types publicity people are so
paranoid about product damaging gossip that they have taken to the old trick
of salting phony unflattering gossip stories into the mix as a way of
muddying things up so that the real stories get lost or overlooked. I don't
know any details but there's apparently some gossip choreography going on
with the Justin and the other Brittany saga.

Ummm, I'm just not seeing this at all. I don't find her physically or
personally appealing. Meg and Goldie had some sort of *cutesy* factor (as
does Kate Hudson) that in Britney seems contrived and forced. And right now
she is, IMO, so over-publicized I would actually avoid seeing anything she's
in. Her publicists, again IMO, need to learn how to play hard to get.
