This is the same slut who caused an accident, then fled the scene, and
when the police came to her house to question her later that day, she
pretended she had amnesia. She is not a good actress because they
brought her in for further questioning. She is a real Slut.

Yeah. Black. Black like Leena Horne black.

An actress is rated as an top influential black. How hopeless it all
must be.

And like I did when someone posted it days ago, "hehehe, lol". If she
is the one they picked then we are all in trouble. She doesn't even
have any influence in the film industry, I mean, she couldn't even get
them to write a role for her out of Storm in the X-Men despite
throwing tantrum and asking fans to write in to the studios.

isn't she just as much white as she is black? I would think that
she wouldn't even really qualify for that ("top influential black")
title.

btw, what are the chances that a magazine could crown someone as the
"top influential white"?? I hate the double standand.

But the double standard thing is quite strange in this case. It is
Ebony, a magazine catering to blacks that did the list. The same goes
to all these lists in women's magazines, the fashion, sexiest,
glamour, best body, etc. lists It is all ridiculous. It's like
shooting yourself in the foot, isn't it? What is the point of the
list?

It's embarrassing, actually. It's an automatic subordinate position.

Can't you just see a magazine devoted to Chinese Americans?

"Top Influential Chinese".

Oh, that's right. Chinese Americans are actually out there running
their own companies and inventing Yahoo, etc. Their skin color isn't
of much interest to them.

Yob: "Hey, Chink!"

Chinese American: "Excuse me. I'm late for a meeting." Enters new
Lexus and drives to investment firm.

Her new movie is a flop. Can't she at least find a good movie to be in?

She's certainly well known, famous. That hardly makes her "influential."
I don't think she's involved in film production, finance, the things
that are truly influential.

An old discussion. I consider that virtually every person born in the
U.S. who is considered "black," that is, has slavery-era ancestors, is
mixed race to some degree, due to the amount of rape in those days, and
then general mixing of people- Native American, Chinese, French traders,
you name it.

"Black" is a social designation. I think what sounds oh-so-P.C. "People
of color" is actually more accurate.

I think this is the problem people have with Barack Obama. He isn't a
descendant of the slave days. So is he black? He's coffee colored. His
father is African. I think one reason he might not set off racial radar
is because I think most of America's issue with racism/black people/etc.
is the shame of slavery, the former need to see Africans and their
descendants are inferior or even sub-human in order to justify slavery.
I think it's in the America's subconscious, not conscious.

So Halle Berry is designated black due to her being "of color." She's
still not particularly influential, not in her own industry.

*snipz*

So what does she actually "influence" them to do?

Whine about not having a man, whine about not having kids, whine about
how hard life is, whine about attempting suicide? Demonstrate how to
play "victim" prettily?

Chicken. Egg. Egg. Chicken.
