I'm trying to find a news photo that appeared in Tuesday's Cleveland Plain
Dealer. It's a photo from a NY Times photographer of a Pakistani protestor
burning an American flag. However, he caught fire and there are flamers
bursting all around his head and back. Pretty funny shit! Had me chuckling
all morning. Too bad I don't have access to a scanner.......

Well, I didn't chuckle, but it did make me wonder whether this guy will
reconsider the next time he gets the urge to burn an American flag.

The 3-picture sequence of this event was on the front page of the Fort
Worth Star-Telegram this morning----all in living color glory...... I
told my husband that I shouldn't be "enjoying" someone catching
himself on fire, yet, watching his glee in the first picture as he so
pompously set our beloved flag on fire, yes, I did thoroughly enjoy
the subsequent two pictures.... (I guess I need to point out that the
second picture showed his sleeve on fire and the third picture showed
that he had been "extinguished", not charred in the least but, I am
sure, very embarrassed.....)

Yes, the local paper here also says a bystander put out the fire
before he was seriously hurt.

The same three photos were in today's LA Times. They might be on their
site at www.latimes.com if anyone still hasn't seen them.

While I don't find the photos funny as such, the caption is great. Lol.
