Both actors do filmwork too and maybe they've outgrown the series
Yeah, `cause "Fantastic Four?" Epic.

I haven't heard anything about the series ending but I agree, they seem to
be setting us up for that. So many stories are coming around to a close.
Wilbur, Sean/Christian's relationship, Julia leaving, Wilbur back, Escobar
seems to be coming to a close (although he could always return) I don't
think the last few weeks have been bad. Well, except for that fast forward a
few weeks ago that IMO, gave away way too much. That's when I first started
thinking that the series could be done.

I hope not. I think he could be the character to spin off into his own
series. I envision something like The Sopranos in guayaberas, set to a
salsa beat.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I hope not too. Every single episode he's in I end
up not being able to sleep that night! I am *really* looking forward to the
finale next week. Have we ever met his wife before? Any speculation on the
episode?
JennP.
I never assumed he was leaving. He's always going to do something and
then it goes to hell. Let's face it, a few dead bodies, with blood all
around not cleaned up sufficiently, the FBI, the kidney scam, the his
son with Amber - he'll probably be arrested next episode.
Right now I'm not sure I'd miss it if it ended. Something about the last ep
really turned me off. I was both disappointed about the resolution of the
James storyline, and immensely grateful that it didn't go where it could
have gone.
Do you think this is the end of it? I kinda thought they might come
after Michelle. How many more episodes are there?
I agree. It was very anticlimactic, yet I didn't want more drama. The
show has evolved into "how creepy can we make the sex".

And Rosie may be joining the cast as a regular.

I read somewhere that they're considering doing a spinoff of Nip/Tuck
based on Rosie's character.

I don't think the James storyline is dead. She might be dead, but the whole
kidney harvesting scam isn't done yet.

Did you see the end of this week's episode?
Next week is the season finale.

Can't say I'd be too interested in that. No Dr. Troy, I won't watch.
JennP.
Rosie O'Donnell...she played the redneck woman who won the lottery and
paid Dr. Troy to sleep with her...she was a recurring role...
Yep. I don't think I'd watch the spin off.
Yeah, there's still the finale. I was trying to be vague in my comments in
case people hadn't seen it yet. :-)
**spoilers for 12/5 ep***
The ending storyline I was trying to refer to was the kidnapping of Wilbur.
The idea that James was going to kill him for his kidneys was repugnant,
(and I have a pretty tough stomach when it comes to N/T). I was
disappointed she killed herself, but I was glad it was only Gina who had the
kid. And honestly, I prefer Escobar as a figment of Sean's imagination.
I Tivo through all extraneous messages so missed that notice.
Heck, if this is the end, it was a horrible season. They have left
everything dangling.
Although Joley Richardson said she wasn't coming back next seasn, which
implies another season.

No, I meant did you see the final scene, with Michelle in the car...don't
want to give anything away.

Ultimately, I think there will be although I do agree that certain signs
have pointed to the end of the series.

RE: the ending: Am I correct in my perception that Gina saved Wilbur's
life by 'kidnapping' him? I thought I saw a woman wearing black at the
edge of the playground, then we went to Wilbur missing, later to the
James-Michelle conflict, in which Michelle and the audience assumed
James had killed Wilbur, then to 'Wilbur's safe, Gina took him.'
Did anyone else walk away with htis impression?

If so, while they may air another season, it'll end it for ME. Holy sweet
Christ on a crutch, O'Donnel is obnoxious.
No way. There will be another season. It's FX's highest rated show.
Most actors sign on for 5 seasons at the onset, although I don't know
if that's true of JM, JR, & DW.
But it will happen.
I think it's a spin off. It was mentioned again in today's paper. It
was also described as a "sitcom" which sometimes they get these things
wrong. I would imagined that show would work best as a dramedy, more
comedic than N/T but not a full out sitcom. I think that would probably
suck.
Didn't Roseanne already do this, the last season of her show? The
white-trash woman hits the lottery and goes crazy with all her new
money.
Or am I thinking of Britney Spears?
That's what I was trying to imply. It will be the end of the series if she
were to become a regular or to get a spin-off. I wonder if this means Star
is welcomed back to the View?

It just feels a lot like the show has jumped the shark. The show , IMHO,
peaked last year with the slasher storyline.
Word 2 Big Bird!!
No, I didn't get the impression. I just thought that James had a crisis of
conscience. It doesn't seem as likely to me that losing Wilbur to Gina
would lead to her killing herself. Coulda happened that way though.
