Buscemi Applies to 'Art School'

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Steve Buscemi will reunite with the
director of "Ghost World," Terry Zwigoff, to play an uncredited cameo in
"Art School Confidential," set to star John Malkovich.
In addition, Anjelica Huston is being sought for a leading role in the
United Artists project.
"Art School Confidential" is based on "Ghost World" writer Terry Clowes'
satirical novel, which takes a poke at the cult of celebrity. It follows an
undercover cop who poses as an artist until he realizes that being a pretend
felon or, better still, a supposed killer, will get him even more acclaim.
Malkovich's production company, Mr. Mudd, is producing. Buscemi's recent
feature credits include Tim Burton's "Big Fish" and Jim Jarmusch's upcoming
"Coffee and Cigarettes."
