[The new album is called "Reise, Reise." Release dates to be announced.
The first single, "Mein Teil," was released in Germany, Austria, and
Switzerland on July 26.]

After 3 years Rammstein are back with their new single "Mein Teil". The
accompanying video has already caused heated discussions.

'Disgusting! Scandal band shocks with cannibal clip!' reads the headline
in VIVA BamS on Sunday 25th July 2004. VIVA BamS continues: 'Is a video
about a cannibal still artistic? Borderline? Or just sick?' The paper
goes on to quote Tom Bohne (Universal Music): 'The Rammstein video is an
artistic way to deal with an unusual topic. It makes me deal with the
song itself - That's exactly what the video should do!'. The current
edition of the SPIEGEL magazine writes about the 'sicko howlers': 'After
a 3 year break the exponents of bombastic rock (...) are back with
scandalous riotous noise. Likewise the 'Hamburger Morgenpost' responded
indignantly to the 'sick video clip', music channel VIVA temporarily
took the video off its website.' While MTV only shows the video after
11pm, it is still on the highest day time rotation on VIVA. The
controversial original version of the video can be downloaded from the
internet via the single that is released on Monday 26th July.

7, 2004

RAMMSTEIN's song "Mein Herz Brennt" is featured in a Mercedes
television commercial which has been airing on British television. The
commercial, which includes "breath-taking special effects" during the
breaks, features the driver of a Mercedes Cabriolet fleeing from two
battling "Cloud Gods". More information about the commercial is
available at http://www.rammstein.com/news/mercedes.php.

As previously reported, RAMMSTEIN are preparing to shoot a video for

Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Mutter" was recorded in Spain and
Germany. Production duties on the CD were handled by Jacob Hellner,
who worked with the group on "Mutter".

RAMMSTEIN's latest single, "Mein Teil", entered the German singles
chart at position No. 2. A video for the track was shot on June 2-3 in

In other news, RAMMSTEIN's management has reportedly offered to settle
their differences with top German RAMMSTEIN fan site, RammsteinFan.de,
over allegations that the site's owners are capitalizing on the band's
name. "The manager of RAMMSTEIN explicitly apologizes for the
standardized and harsh tone of the [cease-and-desist letter] from the
lawyers [previously sent to RammsteinFan.de]," reads a posting on
RAMMSTEIN's official web site. "Talks have been proposed for next week
in order to clear out all differences."

RAMMSTEIN Deny Having Filed Lawsuit Against Fan Site - July 30, 2004

German industrial metallers RAMMSTEIN have issued a statement denying
reports that they have filed a lawsuit against top German RAMMSTEIN
fan site, RammsteinFan.de, over allegations that the site's owners are
capitalizing on the band's name. The group's statement reads as
follows:

"It has been posted in various forums and websites that the domain
owner and webmaster of Rammsteinfan.de is being sued by RAMMSTEIN and
its management. Many sites even mention a 14-page notice a high
monetary claim for damages.

"The following facts are correct:

"The domain owner and webmaster of Rammsteinfan.de simply received a
3-page warning, in which he was asked, among other things, to cease
the distribution of audio recordings and images, as well as using
these for the advertisement of services, products, etc. The remaining
three pages of the letter consisted only of a statement of cessation
that he is supposed to send back.

"Because the repeated demands of the management were only partially or
occasionally met, the management saw itself forced to give its demands
more weight with a letter from their lawyer."
