Was this the show that was on the WB last year? I'm amazed it's still
around. Don't we have ENOUGH award shows? Having said that, a few
comments...
> A complete list of nominations follows:
>
> Song of the Year: Alternative/Active Rock Radio:
> Creed -- "With Arms Wide Open"
This group Creed *must* be stopped. I find their songs to be pretentious
crap.
> Song of the Year: Top 40/Pop Radio:
> Macy Gray -- "I Try"
I looooooove the Macy Gray song.
> Song of the Year: Pop Alternative Radio:
> Santana (with Rob Thomas) -- "Smooth"
> Smash Mouth -- "Then the Morning Comes"
How old are these songs? What timeframe is this goofy show using?
> Most Requested Song of the Year:
This is the dumbest category. How can they possibly get a remotely accurate
measurement?
> Most Requested Artist of the Year:
> BBMak
HUH?
> Radio Slow Dance Song of the Year:
> 'N Sync -- "This I Promise You"
> Radio Party Song of the Year:
> Ricky Martin -- "She Bangs"
These songs were just released, shouldn't they wait until next year?
