Radio Music Awards 2000 nominations

Music Awards," which will air Nov 4 on ABC. The pop group tied with four
nominations apiece with Creed. Santana, the Dixie Chicks and Sisqo each
garnered three nominations and Vertical Horizon, Macy Gray, Destiny's Child, 98
Degrees, George Strait, Tim McGraw, Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind and Aaliyah
all walked away with two nods.
The two-hour special will hand out awards in such traditional catagories as Top
40/Pop radio, Pop Alternative radio, Hip Hop/Rhythmic radio, Alternative/Rock
radio and Country radio. In addition, awards will be given out for Most
Requested Artist, Most Requested Song, Most Requested Party Song and Most
Requested Slow Dance Song of the year by radio listeners with the last two
awards determined by viewers.
ABC will broadcast the "The Radio Music Awards," live from Aladdin Hotel in Las
Vegas, Nevada.

Was this the show that was on the WB last year? I'm amazed it's still
around. Don't we have ENOUGH award shows? Having said that, a few
comments...
