DUNE
7:00 PM -SCIFI-
Paul of Atreides leads the fight for vital spice on a desert planet in the year
10191; long version. A spice that powers interstellar travel, called Melange,
is only found on the planet Arrakis. Paul of Atreides (Kyle McLachlan) and his
family are sent there to die, but Paul rises instead to overthrow the evil
Emperor and free Arrakis' people. Sci Fi is airing the extended version, so
you're sure not to miss any David Lynch weirdness.

FRIENDS
8:00 PM -NBC-
Ross ridicules Rachel's choice of a male nanny (Freddie Prinze Jr.). (Repeat)

THE DISCO BALL
8:00 PM -ABC-
As friends can attest, I just can't get enough of the disco. I hear the refrain
from "Dancing Queen" by ABBA and I make a beeline straight for the dance floor.
Even though "The Disco Ball" is a repeat, I'll be watchin' -- especially since
I missed it the first time. Taped at the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los
Angeles, the special features performances from the likes of Gloria Gaynor, the
Village People, Irene Cara (where's she been?) and a special number from Whoopi
Goldberg. It'll be fabulous -- like "Sister Act" meets "Can't Stop the Music."
And if you know about that movie, you're about as sick as I am. Toot toot ...
hey, beep beep. (Repeat)

WWE SMACKDOWN!
8:00 PM -UPN-
Who knows what these kids have gotten themselves into now? I've never been a
big fan of wrasslin', although I once worked with a woman who was in "G.L.O.W."
-- the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. And yes, it was kinda scary. But hey -- ya
gotta eat, right? If you're a teenage male, enjoy. If not, seek help.

THE AMAZING RACE 4
8:00 PM -CBS-
The Princess Reminds Me of My Grandmother: An emotional secret is revealed; one

one duo reveals a secret that brings them to tears. If it's all because they
really wanted to be on "Big Brother" and felt that they got the shaft, I'll be
sorely disappointed. Meanwhile, another team feels the heat when they try to
eavesdrop for some precious airline info.

DATELINE
10:00 PM -NBC-
You know what? I just can't get enough of these crazy kids. It's about time
someone in the media focused on their two-year-old relationship, their fashion
choices, the engagement ring, the house they've bought in Georgia, the movie
that took a year to premiere ... shall I go on? Anyway, "Dateline NBC"
dedicates a special night to the lovebirds, where they'll reveal how they met
(on the set of Martin Brest's movie "Gigli" -- did you know Al Pacino is in
it?), why they fell in love and how they manage to live under intense media
scrutiny. I think the millions of dollars they have between them helps a bit,
don't you?

101 MOST SHOCKING MOMENTS IN ENTERTAINMENT
10:00 PM -E!-
Part 5 of 5 Shocking moments: 20-1. All this week, E! has been covering the
most shocking, jaw-dropping and gasp-inducing moments from pop culture. I must
say, it's been a lot of fun to relive the good times, like Rob Lowe gettin' it
on with an underage hottie, or Michael Jackson's hair catching fire during the
making of a Pepsi commercial. And we all thought that was pretty weird. So
naive ... Anyhoo, E! finishes up the series with the final 20 moments, and
we've got some doozies. Nancy Kerrigan versus Tonya Harding? Check. Heidi
Fleiss? You betcha. Monica and Bill? Yup. The order of the top 10 will be
announced during the telecast. Shock me, Amadeus.
