Jennifer Lopez's dog 'attacked steward'
Friday, November 20 2009, 2:59pm EST

By Catriona Wightman

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are being sued after their dog
allegedly attacked a flight attendant.

Lopez owns a German Shepherd called Floyd who was bred by the military
for "personal protection".

According to the New York Daily News, court papers reveal that Floyd
growled and lunged at Lisa Wilson during a flight. He also apparently
headbutted her leg, causing her to fall over and injure her back.

Meanwhile, vet Dr Karen Overall has claimed in an eight-page report
that Lopez and Anthony knew how dangerous the dog was and should have
sent him for counselling.

"It is clear to me that Floyd, Mr Anthony's personal protection dog,
behaved inappropriately, aggressively and in a manner that
consistently endangered humans," she wrote.

Wilson further stated that she had been warned to be careful around
Floyd and avoid eye contact with him, suggesting that Lopez and
Anthony knew of his aggressive nature.

Wilson's lawyer William Cafaro said: "The dog was obviously dangerous
and we will prove at trial that it was only a matter of time before he
hurt someone."

In court documents, an attorney for Lopez and Anthony announced that
he has hired his own animal behaviour expert to examine Floyd.

I've pretty much seen this 'beware of dog' signs as an open invitation for
large lawsuits.. ie;The people KNOW they have an animal they can't control. So
if a person actually comes in contact with dog even inside the home, the people
should expect the worst.

Better no sign, and feign ignorance and complete surprise that Bootsie could
chew an arm off in a matter of seconds.

It must have been a private jet. A commercial flight would have the
dog constrained.

Will the dog now be sent off to Dr. Drew for rehab?
