in a matter of days. The mag names his alleged new girlfriend as model

is always fascinating. There is also his support of the whole Dop The Roc
thing and his interest in poetry. I don't find him physically attractive
and his taste in decorating sucks, but he is a musical pioneer and has done
some incredible and thoroughly decent things.

I saw a documentary about the beginnings of rap - I wish I could
remember the title, but it escapes me at the moment, something about
death row maybe?- and he came across as a very savvy businessperson.
Personally I find rap about as enjoyable as having red-hot needles
stuck into my eardrums, but I can respect his business acumen.
Plus he got bonus points for mentioning Kraftwerk. :)

Your posts would be much easier to stomach if you aimed a fraction of your
*brutal honesty* at your own posts. You're the first one to label, point
fingers, accuse, and hate around here.
Incidentally, I fully appreciate the fact that it's a *racist* world out
there and that, at the end of the day, you inevitably deal with tons more
discrimination, even veiled, than I do. I learned this pretty early on, when
I was joking to a black friend of mine about getting into a cab after a
10-mile run and looking like a sweaty, disheveled, panting mess. He told me
that if he'd hailed a cab wearing ratty shorts and a sweaty, torn T-shirt,
no taxi would ever have stopped, and it's an unspoken reality that plays out
every day, even in the subtlest ways.
Still, you've got to stop being so squeamishly sensitive about everything,
because you're hurting your own "cause", sometimes deliberately, it seems.
Like many people, you seem to take some kind of comfort in "victimizing"
yourself and pointing fingers at others, seeing racism in places where it
*isn't*. You seem hell-bent on hanging on to that smug, all-knowing persona
that loves to throw around attitude-riddled persecution clichés, and then,

For what it's worth, he used to live in my neighborhood (maybe still does)
and I used to see him all the time, pre-Kimora. He often "held court" at a
restaurant called Time Cafe (now just closed) that used to be a little more

mine are have Korean mothers and black fathers and another friend has
siblings who are Vietnamese/Black. Most do NOT look apparently African
American. The ones with straight or curly hair look Southeast Asian the
ones that have more tightly curled hair tend to look Polynesian
(Samoan, Hawaiin etc)

This is Victoria Rowell's daughter. Victoria is biracial and her

mother and a black brother. If she tells people she is "black" it
wouldnt be because she is insane or deluded or selfhating. She lives in
