Wow, I don't blame him. From what I've seen and read, Kimora seems
like a serious bitch on wheels. I just found this:

Agreed !!!! ...... I know its all each individuals personal tastes - mine
being olive/coloured skin and long dark hair ....so I also thought the
following were pretty too :
Cinthia Moura, Amanda Ungaro, Thalita, Jovana Thornton, Nina Zuckerman, Kim
Smith, Ivana Petkovic, Kiara Holmes
( and noticed Tara Reid in the cast )
Yay! I can't wait to start reading reports of how doors are shutting
for that hag. Thats the downside to being a bitch when you're high,
you get to suck it when you start sliding.

Wow, this must be the one split (besides the Federlines) everyone had
been hoping for... I never understood how he put up with such a
pathetic and arrogant piece of work like Kimora... she's got all this
money but is so ghetto... I don't wish her any harm but I do hope the
fall hurts and humbles her.
He has brains and charisma, which somewhat mitigates the bony looks.

C'mon bel...Do you honestly think that's what attracted someone like
*Kimora*? Methinks his bony looks were more than somewhat mitigated by
his ample bank account. ;)

i don't agree.
he looks blissed out and peaceful.
his features are very sensual.
his voice is unigue and sexy.
yes, his money makes him cuter.
She's gorgeous. And this girl actually is black...which Kimora WANTS to
be but NEVER will be.
But I wonder if Kimora might try to kill her? She's a crazy girl and I
can't see her letting her husband just go quietly into the night. It
wouldn't be about her marriage falling apart...it would be about losing
her husband (who I personally think she HATES and he hates her in
return) to ANOTHER WOMAN.

Hah, didn't she make some threat in Vanity Fair about "she'll cut a
bitch" that was kinda funny at the time, but not in a good way? Oo
Yikes... me shudders to think how ugly this divorce could get.
And 'spensive too.
They're really gorgeous! (bitches!!!) :)
I agree with most of the peeps here, he's long deserved it, he seems
like a nice guy, and sure, he's filthy rich and s bit odd looking, but
hey, so what? I doubt Kimora will have any trouble having her pick of
young boy toys willing to put up with her because of her $$$, yanno?

Trainwreck, party of 1.
that's not your call.
please have the decency to allow individuals to label themselves.
what's wrong with you?
Yeah, she said that. She's extremely immature. But I do think their
divorce could be one for the history books!
Seems like it. So who is Kimora's lesbian lover?
What kinda crack do you smoke? Kimora with her dark skin and eyes and
hair and her BLACK father is as black (if not more) than this other
girl with lighter skin hair and eyes.
I guess we are so used to seeing black people mixed with white that we
dont even see it as being mixed anymore.
But she is adorable, like a doll.

I know. All that talk of bitches taking her man and now THIS??
It's not JUST the money. He's a self-made man and that kind of personality
is always fascinating. There is also his support of the whole Dop The Roc

and his taste in decorating sucks, but he is a musical pioneer and has done
some incredible and thoroughly decent things.

I saw a documentary about the beginnings of rap - I wish I could
remember the title, but it escapes me at the moment, something about
death row maybe?- and he came across as a very savvy businessperson.
Personally I find rap about as enjoyable as having red-hot needles
stuck into my eardrums, but I can respect his business acumen.
Plus he got bonus points for mentioning Kraftwerk. :)

Kimora has never looked the LEAST bit black to me. She looks Japanese.
But trashy Japanese.
What she looks like to you has nothing to do with what she is. Your
eyes dont define reality. The woman has a black father and that makes
her as black as Shemar Moore, Jasmine Guy, Lisa Bonet and Lenny
Kravitz. Perhaps because their other parent is white, you dont notice
that there is "other' mixed in with the black but the japanese jumps
out at you when you see Kimora. That doesnt mean she isnt as black as
the rest of them.
Wait!...
Racist whites made up that silly "If you have a drop of black blood, you
are black" race qualifier to further their discrimination of good
people. Why are we still using it in this day and age?

Kimora *IS* black.
Because this is still a racist world. I have a white mother but when I
walk down the street, all people see is "black." I could fool myself
and walk around shouting, "But I'm biracial!" At the end of the day,
I'm a black woman. Better to recognize it then try and deny it.
Besides, Kimora identifies as black, as do most biracial people. If
she wants to be called black, why call her anything else?
Id see you as biracial
But I see biracial people as the purest form of LOVE out there.
So you are the Antithesis of racism

Amen Gesundheit to that one! :)
Vasi's a beauty. Looked her up, bio says she's Dominican/Puerto
Rican/Greek.
She's only 5' 7", so I guess she doesn't do runway. Bio says she's
also been
in L&O.
Whatever, they sure put out the cutest daughters. Much rather see more
of them and less of Kimora in her reality show.
I think mr quator is our caped crusader of caucasian conflict.
the cape in this case probably matches the purse and the handbag.
::::holding hand over mouth and giggling:::
Those babies are absolute dolls!
I see them in all kinds of commercials, just like Ive seen Cindy
Crawford son in a commercial w/out her
Actually I see the asian eyes immediately...
And any lighter skin AA is biracial, thats how they got lighter...
But she named her children Japanese names. I think she takes parts of
both.
Shes a fusion. Its wonderful...
She like Hawai'i!
Case in point - Alexander Wentworth, the star of Prison Break (is that
his name? I'm horrible with names) is African American with a black
father. If he didn't make this known, how many people would just see a
white guy?

HAHAHA! now this is amusing. Who is so insecure they feel the need to
spread a bunch of bullshit praise and worship about stars? Like you do
about every week on here? It's the exact same thing.
why are you surprised that someone here cares about the truth?
every time you trash come on here and LIE, you better count on someone
coming right back and correcting you!
that's life!
i know some of you wish this ng was a safe zone for spreading lies and
venting the kind of "racial" enmity you DON'T DARE speak publicly, but
sorry - it's not that kind of party!
some people have been to school and read books and been taught by

UGLY.
you are allowed to say what you want, and to get as ugly as god made
you -
but don't be surprised when i say "you're lying, and why do you have to
act so ugly?"
i have to say it, cause your mother ain't here.
<<the cape in this case probably matches the purse and the handbag.>>
i realize you're only kidding, but why do you use images of

Your posts would be much easier to stomach if you aimed a fraction of your
*brutal honesty* at your own posts. You're the first one to label, point
fingers, accuse, and hate around here.
Incidentally, I fully appreciate the fact that it's a *racist* world out
there and that, at the end of the day, you inevitably deal with tons more
discrimination, even veiled, than I do. I learned this pretty early on, when
I was joking to a black friend of mine about getting into a cab after a
10-mile run and looking like a sweaty, disheveled, panting mess. He told me
that if he'd hailed a cab wearing ratty shorts and a sweaty, torn T-shirt,
no taxi would ever have stopped, and it's an unspoken reality that plays out
every day, even in the subtlest ways.
Still, you've got to stop being so squeamishly sensitive about everything,
because you're hurting your own "cause", sometimes deliberately, it seems.
Like many people, you seem to take some kind of comfort in "victimizing"
yourself and pointing fingers at others, seeing racism in places where it
*isn't*. You seem hell-bent on hanging on to that smug, all-knowing persona
that loves to throw around attitude-riddled persecution clichés, and then,
disingenuously, pretending you don't "see* race and color and labels when
the spotlight winds up aiming at you. You're the biggest labeler around, and
probably the poster most likely to lump everybody together and fuck the
subtleties.
When others allude to or aknowledge the disctinction between white and black
in our society, no matter what the context, they're racists to you. When you
do, you're the all-seeing, admirably colorblind, world-weary truth-sayer
sarcastically holding up a mirror to society so that they might see the
error of their ways. It don't work that way!
In other words, honey, Get Over Yourself!
Handle it, Mary. It's the truth, all 100 percent of it.
For what it's worth, he used to live in my neighborhood (maybe still does)
and I used to see him all the time, pre-Kimora. He often "held court" at a
restaurant called Time Cafe (now just closed) that used to be a little more
hip years ago. He always looked calm, always nodded hello, and never, ever,
EVER, ever detached that cell phone from his ear!
Own your own words and explain why you are a better authority on Sunshine's
life, sense of security and background than Ms. Sunshine or her parents,.
Why spread fake internet projection and lies? I'm asking! Sing it!
Yup. More accustomed to seeing ppl who appear white but identify as
black or biracial.
I find that a lot of ppl who are "passing" often "out" themselves to
me. I guess it gets lonely and when they see that flicker of
recognition in your eyes they will often respond in such a way as to
confirm your suspicions. Its kinda fun in a way like being in secret
club.
You know what I meant...
This is too sad. In 2006!
Thank-you! Jesus! I can't remember names to save my life.

i am a fucking artist, ok?
i have performed in and out of drag!
i cut my teeth on holly woodlawn, the warholettes & the
cockettes/angels of light, plus rupaul, the lady bunny, linda simpson
and the legendary queens at the pyramid club and jackie 60!
do you think it's degrading or invalid to perform in drag?
it's hard for me to argue with you because you are so dismissive.
do you believe in art?
preesi, you are a kook!
(sorry to label)
you beautifully illustrate (for me) the bromide:
"a little knowlege is a dangerous thing".
don't ever change!
She's not as black as she wants to be and she knows it.
And I've seen no proof that she has a black father. She SAYS so, but
Kimora will say anything to make herself sound like the person she
wants to be.
No, she isn't. If what Kimora herself says is true then she is HALF
black and HALF Japanese. Therefore, she is no more "black" than she is
"Japanese". How can you take one half and make it a whole (but,
noticeabley, you decide WHICH half you feel like is dominant)?
LOL!
"She isnt as black as she wants to be"?
Well, by law and custom in the US, if u got a black daddy you are as
"black as Richard Roundtree in "Shaft in Africa' "
I think maybe ur a bit "off".Maybe you dont know any other Asian/Black
biracial kids so you dont know what they are "supposed" to look like
but I grew up military and have seen gazillions. 2 close friends of
mine are have Korean mothers and black fathers and another friend has
siblings who are Vietnamese/Black. Most do NOT look apparently African
American. The ones with straight or curly hair look Southeast Asian the
ones that have more tightly curled hair tend to look Polynesian
(Samoan, Hawaiin etc)
Anyway. U r tripping.
This is Victoria Rowell's daughter. Victoria is biracial and her
daughters father is white, her sons father is black. Maya has a black
mother and a black brother. If she tells people she is "black" it
wouldnt be because she is insane or deluded or selfhating. She lives in
a house with black people, was raised by a black woman and despite what
your eyes may see can legally call herself a black woman..
Someone might see her or a Wentworth Miller and not know they are
culturally and socially black if they dont let you know. ANd sometimes
they will. For the same reason that 2 Americans who meet coincidentally
in Japan, to name a random place, may do lunch. Just because its nice
to connect to someone from a similar background, especially when you
werent expecting it.

THATs the crux of the biscuit Quator. Everybody here is fuct up at least a
little. You, however, are probably more screwed in the head than anybody.
Yet its always you, accusing everybody else, of being screwed up.
> do you think it's degrading or invalid to perform in drag?
it can be funny, if its used for comic purposes i suppose.
> it's hard for me to argue with you because you are so dismissive.
> do you believe in art?
Heh. I've only worked professionally in visual and sonic arts since my
first gig in about 1975.
So can Naomi Campbell be called Chinese?
What I dont understand is when people like Halle Berry and Alicia Keys,
whose black parent abandoned or abused them, choose to identify as black
Kimora looks asian to ME.
She looks like my Japanese penpal Kimiko, who was a beach bum and loves
to tan
JMO
Its not either or. And cultural and ethnic identity isnt the same as
"race". Obviously Victoria Rowells daughter is at least 3/4 white. But
people act like someone who looks like her and considers themselves
black is deluded. The point is that she is raised in the same house
with the same mother as Jasper, the other child. Shes not considering
herself black (assuming she does) becasue she happens to have some
black way back when. Her mother IS a black woman.
Second. Do you think EVERY child with a nogood daddy denies who they
are? That they say "Im not Chinese/Irish/French" (or whatever) because
their dad left or was a dog? Does everyone with a father who left
change their name to their mothers maiden name and forget dad? Did you
change your sons name to your maiden name to erase the reminders of his
jerk father?
They still have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents etc and are a part
of a family. What their father may have done or not done has nothing to
do with their identity and heritage.

She looks like a half japanese half black person to me.
But you just stated above that Victoria Rowells daughter could call
herself black.
So why cant Naomi call herself Chinese? She is 1/4 Chinese just like VR
Daught. is 1/4 black...
UH?
Moron?
KIMORA IS A JAPANESE NAME!
any relation to Totoro?
Sorry sweety, I dont get the joke.
I have read that her mother m ay be korean as well. As many Koreans and
Japanese often cant tell who is who, I guess its close enough that an
outsider like me damn sure couldnt differentiate the 2.
When did I say she couldnt? I didnt. I said prolly not. Thats not "no"
1. Is it verified that NC has a chinese grandparent?
2. Was NC raised in a household with a mother who identified as chinese
and was part of the chinese culture and also with other family members
who were chinese?
You are mixing "black" as a racial identifier and "black" as a cultural
one. Maya is biologically more white than black. But culturally she is
likely African American.
If NC had been raised in China or in a Chinse household then she may
very well identify as Chinese.
I thought she looked American. She was born in St Louis.
