maybe we should have a government run bank
where the 'customer' was not treated as "the sucker"
the gubbment is already all in your hair anyway
the gubbment is running most of the rackets now anyway
so, they should just go ahead and move in on the banking racket.
=at least= there'd be some sort of ...accountability
'interest' te he he
more like "usury" on one end and
...and i can't even think of an appropriate word
for less than 1% interest on a timed CD.
sputum...
if you only knew one quarter of what a 'sucker' they treat you as
you'd buy your own bank vault and open up your own bank...
just to avoid being treated like an imbecile.
i'd practically -welcome- having a gubbment bank
teh FDIC already makes it plausible.
banks,,,what a racket
i'm beginning to hope they choke on a gigantic paper jam
i won't care one little bit
leeches
sorry? for what? i haven't said one thing that isn't an
-understatement-
i think i'm suddenly gunna put an "Obama" bumper sticker on my car,
and i -hate- bumper stickers
ah, go ahead and "Stay the Course"
we need -more- gubbment involvement,
and fearless leder, as i have called him,
actually is pulling out of iraq and maybe even afghannystan,,,
hooo f%$#ing ray... will wonders never cease...
i've just fallen off a log and i'm seein' stars...
we =want= and =need= a gubbment bank
and while we're at it, lets put that "public option"
back on the healthcare table...
i'm about to vomit my guts out...
> i think i'm suddenly gunna put an "Obama" bumper sticker on my car,
we do need one more "bailout"
and that's for the postal service,
if you're gunna bail something that is actually -useful- out
by all means, bail out the post office, you numbnutszes
i mean, bailing out the banks was like pouring
tax dollars into a bottle of chanpagne...
you'll never see that again...
you coulda shoulda started up a gubbment bank
i mean, i got my drivers liscense renewed over the internet
in =TWO= days and didn't even have to go downtown to do it,
i paid over the computer and they sent me my new liscense in =TWO= days.
and here i was looking forward to going downtown
to stand in line for an hour.
i'm actually starting to love the gubbment...
they may at least-try- to protect my liberties...
seems these other characters are using "double speak"
and liberty means slavery...

people are being taxed to the max -anyway-
only thing is, gubbment taxes get you
some sort of vote on something somewhere,
even if it illusory and nobody votes
and the =virtual taxation= of price increases
on goods and services gets you no kind of vote
on anything at the board meeting.
i.e. when gas prices go up and stay up
it's just =like= a great big tax increase,
only you get bno -vote- for you trouble...
is this at all comprehensible?
i've already gone blue in the face over
government taxation vs, corporate taxation
and seen the hypocrisy of those who =say=
raising taxes hurts the economy all the while
raising a -virtual- _corporate_ tax for which
there is no accompanying -vote- except for
stockholders and boardmembers, of which,
lots and lots of actual -people- are not.
-that's- the "taxation wiithout representation"
that some people have almost noticed
it comes on you when -apples- now cost you $2 per pound
whereas, they cost only 59 cents a pound not 8 years ago,.
it is just -like- a 'tax' in its behavior
only it's a "good tax" depending on -who- levies it
the state vs. some "private concern"
where 'people' don't get to -vote- on how
the "private concern" -spends- the monies...
but a tax is a tax...
=that's= the "key" here...
and believe me, the reason i -called-
Obama "The Stepford President"
was because it was sure starting to -look- like
he was going to get spun by the military
and we =would= end up in a perpetual combat
situation in iraq and affgjhannystan,
but, i'm small enough to say "hoo f^%$ing ray" ...
now, all you gotta think about is
opening up pennsylvania avenue in front
of the white house to automobile traffic again...
even Eisenhower during the height of teh cold war told
the secret service simply and flatly =NO= when they
first tried to close down the avenue.
but, i don't expect this to be re-opened
even though Bush =promised= he would do it
that's right, you could keep somebody -else's- promise -for- them
what a country...
and i was about the -only- person who was still saying
-anything- nice about Bush when -all- the other rats
had left the sinking ship of state
and i still respect the man
i really don't think he -asked- to have somebody
drop to gigantic buildings in his lap.
be that as it may, i'm supporting our sitting president...
and the sequel, "Return From Stepford"
one small caveat... i've been known to root for losers
so, take it with a grain of salt
oh, by the way, i voted for Nader in the last election...
and we may be -world's- apart politically in many respects
and it -wasn't- just a "vote for donald duck" as
a throwaway vote in my twisted little world
but, maybe you get some picture into my =presumed= "dementia"
sad to say, i probably wouldn't be "normal"
if i wasn't a =little= 'demented'
i still think it will be a problem to try to force
the Amish to buy a commercial insurance policy when
the Amish are already exempted from social security
because they view it as a commercial insurance policy
and they object wholeheartedly to commercial insurance...
=but= i have -hope- that "The Stepford President"
can be a moniker that will not apply to Obama....anymore
and in that vein...he has my support
now all we need is a gubbment bank...
what a RACKET
i mean, believe it or not, crooks need -some- restraint
and as it is now, there is no restraint
and,-at least- a gubbment bank could institutionalize
-some- modicum of "redress of grievances" and just
a -little- restraint...
"thank you for sharing....tim"
yeah, right, more than you can say for the banks
they charge usurious fees and share none
of the profits with account holders
jesse james isn't -outside- the bank looking in...
it's tuther way 'round...
"still "understatement" tim?"
-i- think so...
then again, i'd =LOVE= to be proved wrong...
"wait wait, hold it a minute, =you= voted for Nader?"
yes i did, i'm "disenfranchised" didn't you know that?
"oh no, tim, we -invented- the concept"
maybe so, but you don't have to live it...
-you can go off and join the human race....
looks like i can't...
or maybe i just don't want to...
djever?
but, i'm going to go ahead and say to
"The Stepford President"
oh fearleass leader...
i'm proud of you.
=you= are the civilian authority to the military
-not- tuther way 'round
thank you.
that's twice i can't spell "fearless leader"
and i mean, i was -really- at a loss
i practically said that he was 'elected'
for the express purpose of mollifying
the anti-war crowd
cuz it sure was looking that way
and here he goes, and leaves Iraq, and hopefully affghannystan too
not that Bush didn't -say- that 2012 was about time
but that the "stepfordization" process -could- have 'changed' things,
to say the least
seriously,.... thank you.
and i mean, i've given just about all my olde junk
to the AmVets and probably will find more junk
to give away to them
so, that's not it at all
like i've said, i used to =play= 'war' as a child
but boy-oboy man-man
go ahead and do what you said you wanted to do
cuz the military will -never- say
"it's time to leave" all on their own
and it was like, our little "dove" had become very hawkish
and the 'doves' were all of a sudden muted...
so fine...
let's just say, "the cold war is over"
cuz Iraq was a vestigial appendage of cold war politics...
oh yes it was...
but Iran is not,,,, they already -had- their "revolution"
[mutter mutter mutter]
=now= can we have a gubbment bank?
oh yeah, it takes a lot of "talent" to count money
please, you know a machine can count money
teh real "talent" i see is charging usury
and 'giving' an -insult-
where 0.05% interest is a bloody slap in the face...
"talent" you mean you had to go to a big expensive school
to -learn- how to insult people like that?
or didn't you just practice your cocktail party chit chat?
"talent"
i'm on a kaiser roll...so, back up off me man...
believe me, the all american boy is truly sorry
that the 'amwerican dream of home ownership"
was -made- to fail
uh oh, i practically invked 'amweica'
it's a -sad- thing that it could be
...back to the housing projects for some of these people...
=you= booted it
it coulda -shoulda- worked...
olde background...
see, itsort of 'starts' towards the end
of the Clinton administration

Fannie Mae Eases Credit To Aid Mortgage Lending
By STEVEN A. HOLMES
In a move that could help increase home ownership rates
among minorities and low-income consumers, the Fannie Mae
Corporation is easing the credit requirements on loans
that it will purchase from banks and other lenders.
===
and then it seems to find it's way into Bush policy in 2002;
===
http://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/infocus/homeownership/homeownership-policy-book-ch2.html
A Home of Your Own
EXPANDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL AMERICANS
PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH JUNE 2002
<...> [end of page 10 beginning of page 11]
To that end, the Administration has issued
America’s Homeownership Challenge” to homebuilders,
realtors, nonprofits, and government-sponsored enterprises
that purchase the mortgages made by lenders, to unite
in a concerted, multifaceted and collaborative effort
to dismantle barriers to homeownership in each community
and increase the number of minority homeowners by at
least 5.5 million families by the end of this decade.
This broad-based effort will (1) harness the capital and expertise
of major private sector financial institutions, (2) involve minority
advocacy groups in key roles to guide industry efforts, and (3)
complement the legislative and regulatory initiatives put forth
by the Administration to achieve this goal.
===
what may be more of a 'cause' here
is that these loans were -expected- to be bad,
and then lenders seemed to try and deal with
them as if they were normal regular everyday
'good' risk loans and then pulled back the rug
when defaults started to come in,
and maybe started a cascade effect over
into so-called 'good' loans, and the
dominoes just started to fall.
and this is the "talent" that needs
zillion dollar bonuses to be kept on board...
it's just sad that this road to the infernal
regions was paved with good intentions
and now, it's scapped entirely, and ...don't forget
the real estate house flipper speculators,,,
and now, it's back to teh 'projects' for most of these
folks who realy just needed a hundred year mortgage on
a real fair market value home and would have paid
it off eventually.
it's very sad, not for the "middle class"
but for the "underclass"
and now even the rich people are scared
"talent"....my foot
if you were =really= "talented"
you'd have made that good intention a reality...
need one more reminder...

but instead, this so-called "talent"
-exploited- the gubbment backed good intention
to screw people blind and ended up shooting
-themselves- in the foot, and then turn around and say;
"i don't know where the money went"
yeah right, "talent"
-that- kind of "talent" isn't worth a zillion dollar bonus...
you should be scrubbing floors and changing bed pans...
no offense to those who -do- scrub floors and change bed pans
cuz, i gotta elderly muvva and i gots to change her diapers...
please don't tell her i mentioned that...
you ought to know by now that -i- -don't- -care-
but...i'm gunna go ahead and stand by the President
it's just the way i am
after all, i still support Bush.
cuz i know you had a lot of bad news dumped in your lap
and i'm convinced, now, that, at least, he's a man of his word.
and that means something to -me-.
no, of course i still have a problem with mandated
commercial insurance policies
but, i have gained respect for the man, himself
and i mean, i was the one who just could not understand why
he was sending his children to a very expensive private school
when there -are- good public schools in the district of columbia
-and- push this public health care system...
i'm willing to eat all that
and just let it go by.
but these other folks who are standing on 2 trillion in cash
and -not- investing in their own country
and say taxes are bad and levy them themselves
...i don't respect...
it matters to -me-
if no one else...
why? i have my reasons...
-now- do you know what a WASP is?
you may as well just go ahead and say you gotta negro WASP
and just let all of that "white pride" crap float on down the river...
the end
"what in earth is he talkin' about?"
America, my friend,...America
God bless America
but, i was one who said that "historic" was
a terrible reason to elect anyone as president
i detested that as rationale
i'll be waiting for the historic first chinese president
but =only= if that person is right for the task at hand
and -not- and -never- just because of some sort of
lamebrained sense of 'history'
having said that,
he's the President
the American President
and i think he deserves a little cooperation...
and so, that's what i'm doing.
i know, it's all perfectly fair, but,
just take as an example, a $50,000 savings account
to which, many of these banks give 0.05% interest
that gives you $25 for one year of your money
being made availabel for the bank to loan it out.
now, the bare minumum general purpose
loans may be running about 3.99%
so, the bank makes $1975 on an easy loan while
you get $25 for letting them use your money.
and then there are credit cards,
which many banks issue at rates from say
9% to as high as 25% in some cases.
sure it's "fair"
but, what you may ask yourself is
if it was a gubbment bank, would those two numbers
get any closer together?
seeing as how the -government- already seems
to be assuming most of the 'risk'
in that they insure all accounts up to
...what is it? $250ooo by now...
and this is the "talent" that earns some of
these people zillion dollar bonuses to keep
-them- happy.
you can easily see how, a bank with
several billion dollars in assets
rakes in piles of money in interest
on money for which they pay very
little to use.
with very little risk...
cuz they have neat tricks like wage garnishment etc.
"talent"
i'm missing something right?
and then when some real smart guy says;
"i don't know where the money went"
he's -still- called "talented"
there, i'm happy now...
so, a nice great big bank, with a trillion dollars in assets,
for which they pay ~0.05% interest, or one half billion dollars;
rakes in, at a bare minumum, ~40 billion dollars.
and with all teh talent thatmoney can buy,
they just vanish another set of billions of dollars
and can't even make teh Home Ownership Challenge a success.
"talent"
and this doesn't even take in to account trickeries
like "credit default swaps" whatever the hail that is...
oh, that's like when the bank makes a pile
-for- "losing" your money...
an =incentive= to 'act' incompetent
and laugh all the way to switzerland...
where i hear they have competent bankers...
please, burst my bubble and show me how wrong i am...
"talent"
"aw, c'mon tim, it's chrissmiss, and everybody's
in a good mood, don't be a killjoy"
i don't care, i'm sure it's nice work, if you can get it...
it's the word, "talent" that is rattling around in my head...
""these characters need zillion dollar bonuses cuz they're "talented"
and that's what gets you the best "talent"""
oh
k
still seems more like these guys are skimming pure cream
right off the top for watching numbers on a teevee screen.
some 'talent'
but i =bet=
that some low level bureaucrat could do the exact same thing
at a civil servant's salary...
and pass some of the 'savings' back to the customer
and generate more 'wealth' for everyone
cuz people would spend some of the extra cake
on health food or whatever is the fad of the day
and thousands of little mom and pop health food stores would pop up
cuz, as you know, the "small bizniss" is teh driving force of 'our'
economy...
and =not= some 'talented' cream skimmer who wants
to build a monument to [his] stoopididity...
there, i'll consider this the realization of my vendetta,
and stop here.
