And they were so sure about it, in-terms of an explanation for dark
matter. Too bad..So remember this greenies, when AGW theory suffers
another blow.

The theory, if the findings stand up, was put to the torch by
EVIDENCE, not the political ravings of right-wing kooks.

Just like the theory behind agw is not dependent on the political
ravings of left-wing kooks like the United Nations IPCC.

A group of the world's top scientists. I can see why scientists would
be a threat to you. Heck, books are a threat to you. Minorities are
a threat to you. Gays are a threat to you. Intelligent thought is a
threat to you.

Real scientists use funds to conduct experiments and make observations
in an attempt to disprove their hypotheses. Phoney scientists use
funds to go out and find evidence that confirms what they wish to
believe.

Ah! The "real scientists". Oh where, oh where are they??

Now denky; maybe this time you can tell us where they are?

Of course, what the denialists mean, is "real science" is science that
I agree with it. Just like they don't accept an investigation as
"fair" unless it comes to the conclusion they agree with.

The re-election of Obama must have them wailing and tearing their hair

NO. The measurements are actual measurements. The globe is warming.I
think you must have noticed it by now. They have these things called
thermometers.

The temperature at the South pole is now -31 F, and there was more sea ice there this past winter than ever recorded before. And neither of these things indicate any warming, just normalcy. http://www.wunderground.com/weather-forecast/AA/Amundsen-Scott.html

Sea ice we know about. Now try the ice that is melting on the land mass
of the Antarctic. Care to do a little explanation of why you only
consider sea ice? Don't be shy now what do the experts say about this?
You won't. You will run away and hide.

Actually that does indicate warming. Google the cause of the sea ice
there (or read skepticalscience). And while you're at it, read about
the decreasing land ice there.

No 'they' weren't. Supersymettry is a theory which made many
predictions. AFAIK this LHC result is the first experimental data which
confirms/denies SS. There are different versions of it so it's too soon
to say it's not a valid theory.

Ice becomes water/water becomes ice at 0c..
Te Antarctic landmass does not get to 0c

Badly built Australian airstrip.
Nothing wrong with McMurdo..
You -do- know about all the other ice runways in the Antarctic that
don't have a problemn ?

I guess they shouldn't have built the runway in an area where the average
daytime high is warmer than -5C during the research season.

Depending on the pressure. Ice under a lot of pressure melts at a
lower temperature.

a common misconception about Antarctica, is that
anything lives there, except at the edges;
til men went on it, it was "totally pristine skiing conditions,"
if you will.
