Global heating skeptics and the tobacco industry

interview with one of the authors of the IPCC report. This person was
comparing the global heating skeptics, (many who are paid by the
petroleum industry,) to the tobacco industry lobbyists, who could not
refute the science on tobacco but would just muddy the waters by
ignoring the body of evidence and focussing on single issues out of
context. Although these techniques do not influence anyone in the
field, the general public is sometimes mislead, unfortunately to the
detriment of us all. I am sad to say things will get MUCH worse.
Please read the October issue of "Scientific American" the article
"Impact From the Deep." The long and short of it is the several mass
extinctions have occured besides the asteroid induced one, because of
huge up wellings of hydrogen sulfide gas from the oceans. If the
increase of carbon dioxide continues at its present rate conditions
will be the same as just before those extinctions by the end of this
century. I'll try to post that article in a separate posting. Time
is running out.

This is a lot of philosophical rambling. If you are to demand a change
in our economic system that makes it the priority of our economic
system to reduce emissions over productivity or healthy economy, it is
your resposibility to sustain your burden of proof. Your concentration
on the possible disinformation in the vein of the tobacco industry
does nothing to support your burden of proof. Until this burden of
proof is met, SKEPTISM RULES.
With every point that invalid precepts are uncovered, we have the
right and fundamental obligation to be skeptical or to disbelieve what
cannot be demonstrated to be fact.
The first tenet of AGW is that the earth should be about 0F if it
wern't for the presence of natural grenhouse gases that increase the
temperature 33C to the temperatures that it is. Therefore this effect
makes life possible. The truth is that 1000Wm-2 is recieved at the
equator. Dark rocks can go to 180F. Even in Alaska in the summer,
900Wm-2 of solar energy comes through the atmosphere. This statement
from AGW is proved false this simply. A more refined analyses proves
this intitial tenet false altogether.

If the past trends continue into the future unchanged, than the last
gallon of legal gasoline will be sold on planet Earth in the year
2048, exactly 41 years from now.
This is 100% based on what people have actually been doing, as opposed
to speculation about what one thinks people have been doing. People
are more likely to do what they have done than something utterly and
completely new all at once.

The rate of installations and the price reductions with doublings can
be computed, and I did that with the help of spreadsheets to make the
repetitive calculations simple.

national consumption of electricity right now The cost is now 1/6th
2007 prices. 3 years later, in 2042, it will double and the energy
storage issues of losses involved in storing daylight for non-sunny
times is permanently solved. The cost of INSTALLED total working
system PV is 85 cents a watt.
The Hydrogen economy, whether H2-ICE or H2 Fuel Cells requires four
times the electricity as home electric power. That day comes in 41
years, 2048, and installed PV systems is 60 cents a watt.

Three years after FREEDOM DAY when carbon fuels are extinguished
forever, the installed power base is twice the amount the world has
and knows what to do with and the cost is 50 cents a watt.
41 years to FREEDOM DAY is too long. The price decreases are NOT TIED
TO YEARS PASSING -- they are tied to price decreases. Every time the
price falls 19% another group finds the price attractive and buys in.
They will buy in as fast as the price falls. Increasing the installed
base leads to the competition and manufacturing learning which leads
to the price decreases.
By stimulating faster adoption now, the rates of decreased prices
accelerates and the subsequent doublings accelerates.
If you want FREEDOM DAY to occur in ten years than you have to double
installed base every 9 months instead of every 3 years. That's all you
have to do. No taxes. No carbon trading. Just increase incentives to
install PV and the problems solve themselves on autopilot in as short
as ten years.
Under six years of Republican monopoly of government federal vote-
buying subsidies to red-state farmers were lavish; $19 billion farm
subsidies and $4 billion of that was to cotton farmers.
In 2005 there were 340,000 acres planted in cotton on prime Arizona PV
farmland. The cotton crops required 1,000,000 gallons of federal-
subsidized vote-buying water per acre per year and the farmers netted
$300 profits per acre. One acre of PV mines the energy from the sky
equal to 1 tone of coal every 11.6 peak sunny hours, or 182 tons of
pollutionless carbon-free power every year per acre.
Each acre of PV can electrolyze 26,280 kilograms of hydrogen per acre
per year on Arizona cotton lands. That is equal to 26,280 gallons of
gasoline worth $65,700 from 63,077 gallons of water, at a savings of
900,000 gallons of scarce western water per year per acre.
California put $2.7 billion of subsidy money for 10 year-period up for
PV. If the feds put up that $4 in ONE YEAR vote-buying water subsidy
money towards PV the doublings will greatly accelerate, the nation
will be free from the Sheiks of Arabique, and global warming will be
canceled due to lack of carbon pollution.
Where's the PAIN? The farmers still get paid for a different crop, the
votes still get bought, OILY INC just made a hostile takeover of the
entire PV industry. THe politicians still get bribed, er, campaign
donations. The only pain is those wanting GOTTERDAMMERING, the world
suicide-murder pact, who don't get it. Since when are their needs
number one top priority?
