This Republivcan congressman is so very prominent that he needs no introduction. In point of fact he has no name. Or at least none is cited. Could it be that this phantom congressman does mpt exist? Who is this Republican congressman anyway?

WHICH "prominent Republican?" Why don't you name him - if he's so prominent? Or is it just that he's a lot less "prominent" outside his own core urban Blue Nation city than those he criticizes?

The party that bears the name "Republican" is rootless right now. They have strayed so far from their origins and values that they have become something that ordinary people can not relate to. They are, in the true sense of the name, "exclusive" and not "inclusive" and therefore boring and suffocating. A name change might help, if it had a list of it's values and goals and some new blood.

A prominent Democrat Senator said that Obama is a disgrace, and probably not an American citizen. He said he regrets the day he became a Democrat, but has to vote with the party because he is such a crook and on the take, he couldn't support his lifestyle otherwise, The Senator said that even though he was selling America down the tubes it was worth it because he has free medical and a golden parachute. He is ashamed that so many of his colleagues are criminals, but says."politics makes strange bedfellows. He likened Michelle Obama to an orangutan with PMS, and said that Air Force One now smells like spoiled chicken noodle soup.

I see you failed to identify who this "prominent Republican" is. Why don't you do that?

We shall see. I am not a Republican but it will be interesting to see how long the bloom remains on the rose of Obama with his healthcare reform and the ecomony still being the center of the news.

How 'bout a mainstream media cite for your screed, crappy?
"A prominent Republican said" has all of the credibility of "well known scientist says....".
While you're looking that up, consider the latest aggregate of polls from Real Clear Politics at 7pm EST Sunday:
Direction of Country RCP Average Right Direction 36.2 Wrong Track 55.6 Spread -19.4
Not even the Daily KOS/2000 component of that poll for 7/6 - 7/9 could give the obamination a majority for "right" direction. The CBS News component is worse than the average -- it is 35% right direction, 57% wrong track. All that makes your "prominent republican Senator" screed look a little stupid. Doesn't it?

Since the country is on the wrong track due to republican deregulation, this has no effect on the issue.
