Fraudulent Hockey Sticks And Hidden Data

Would You Buy A Used Car From These So-Called "Scientists"?
Our gullible alarmist friends have obviously fallen for this scam hook,
line, and sinker!
First we had the IPCC report "The Science of Climate Change 1995", where
lead auther Benjamin D. Santer removed the following conclusions made by
genuine scientists, and without the scientists being made aware of this
change.
"None of the studies cited above has shown clear evidence that we can
attribute the observed climate changes to the specific cause of increases in
greenhouse gases."
"No study to date has positively attributed all or part [of the climate
change observed to date] to anthropogenic [man-made] causes."
"Any claims of positive detection of significant climate change are likely
to remain controversial until uncertainties in the total natural variability
of the climate system are reduced."
Then we have some choice quotes from so-called "consensus scientists".
"The two MMs [Canadian skeptics Steve McIntyre and Ross McKitrick] have been
after the CRU station data for years. If they ever hear there is a Freedom
of Information Act now in the UK, I think I'll delete the file rather than
send to anyone."
Phil Jones email, Feb 2 2005
"I can't see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report, Kevin and
I will keep them out somehow, even if we have to redefine what the
peer-review literature is!"
Phil Jones Director, The CRU
[cutting skeptical scientists out of an official UN report]
"The fact is that we can't account for the lack of warming at the moment,
and it is a travesty that we can't .there should be even more warming... the
data are surely wrong".
Kevin Trenberth, Climatologist, US Centre for Atmospheric Research
"...If anything, I would like to see the climate change happen, so the
science could be proved right, regardless of the consequences. This isn't
being political, it is being selfish. "
Phil Jones Director, The CRU
"We have to get rid of the Medival Warm Period" Confided to geophysicist
David Deming by the IPCC, 1995
[Many believe that man to be Jonathan Overpeck, which Prof. Deming didn't
deny in an email response, who would later also serve as an IPCC lead
author.]
"We have 25 years or so invested in the work. Why should I make the data
available to you, when your aim is to try and find something wrong with it?"
Phil Jones Director, The CRU
"We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements,
and make little mention of any doubts we might have." Professor Stephen
Schneider
"Humans need a common motivation ... either a real one or else one invented
for the purpose. ... In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up
with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages,
famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by
human intervention so the real enemy then, is humanity itself." Club of Rome
declaration
"It doesn't matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is
true.... You are what the media define you to be. Greenpeace became a myth
and fund generating machine." Paul Watson, Co-Founder Greenpeace, Forbes,
Nov. 1991
Now what conclusion would a rational and sceptical person come to?
Frederick Seitz, president emeritus of Rockefeller University and chairman
of the George C. Marshall Institute, summed it up nicely after seeing the
changes made to the IPCC report.
"In my more than 60 years as a member of the American scientific community,
including service as president of both the National Academy of Sciences and
the American Physical Society, I have never witnessed a more disturbing
corruption of the peer-review process than the events that led to this IPCC
report."

"It is a remarkable fact that despite the worldwide expenditure of perhaps
US$50 billion since 1990, and the efforts of tens of thousands of scientists
worldwide, no human climate signal has yet been detected that is distinct
from natural variation."
Bob Carter, Research Professor of Geology, James Cook University, Townsville
Meanwhile, in the real world ....
German meteorologists are announcing a century winter.
Low "Daisy" will snow up the whole Europe with unbelievable amounts of
snow and ice from next Friday on.
The actual prevailing catastrophic conditions will develop to an almost
deadlock of traffic and supply.
Actually a lot of of important supply goods have already ran short.
THAT will be a catastrophe!

Both of which tactics are SOP for the filth merchants, especially

If you read the discussion you will find that a range of non-loony
lefties, non-lefties, and rightwing loonies also read it. One of the
responses was clearly from a LaRouchite.
Fran
I liked the sketch portraits. Especially Lord Bugeyes.
Keeerist, ya dumb cunt, this is what passes for news, for you lef-turd-
retards?
what a pathetic collective...
Meaningless word salad, ya dumb cunt.
But, it's ok when you left-turds do it , eh, you hypocritical pathetic
dumb cunt?
Whats really funny is that if it wasn't for fossil fuels, the
greentards who wrote this would freeze and/or starve to death. Now
that would be a laugh.
There is one thing that you can always rely on alarmists and
socialists to do.
And that is to blame other people or companies, for the problems which
are really their own personal responsibility.
I have never seen an oil company forcing people to drive a car.
I have never seen a coal or power company forcing people to burn coal
or use electricity.
These companies are there to supply an essential need.
Alarmists and socialists should take responsibility for their own
problem. Or talk to the other people directly causing the problem. But
watch out, they will probably be as intolerant of you, as you are of
the oil companies.
There is another thing that you can always rely on alarmists and
socialists to do.
If they ever manage to cripple the oil, coal, and power companies, and
people are dying in their millions from lack of heat and other
services, the alarmists and socialists will be there blaming the oil,
coal, and power companies, for letting all of the people suffer and
die.
It's nice when you always have somebody else to blame, and never take
resposibility yourself.
So who are the biggest filth merchants?
It is the alarmists and socialists, because they peddle their enormous
filthy lies.
Glad you liked it ...
Fran
NB: Composition fallacy, false dilemma ...
BTW, how would the non-'greentards' go? Would that also be a laugh?
Fran
Seemed like a long list of liers to me. I don't see how its my responsibility
when someone else takes money to propagate lies.
As if the original post doesn't have the same faults.
>
> BTW, how would the non-'greentards' go? Would that also be a laugh?
Non-greeentards consider fossil fuels to be valuable and currently
essential commodity. This contrasts with certain *idiots* of the
greentard persuasion that deride these fuel as filth. It makes
perfect sense to consider what would happen to the greentards if they
were actually deprived of the benefits of said fuel which they label
filth.
To lay this out more clearly: you are a hypocrite for calling fossil
fuels "filth" while basking in the warmth that they provide for you
and your greentarded brethren.

Thanks Fran, those charectures are great.
OTOH, you can call your opponents socialist, insist they want a one-
world government, call them liars and frauds, oh, and just attack Al
Gore instead of the science.
What "2 billion currently facing starvation"
are you talking about, jmoron-the insipid parasite?
And who is at fault?
You left-turds can't wait for the next lie to come out of your pie
holes.

Oh, just speed up the process -- herd them into concentration camps
and gas them, like you fascists have done.
You hoaxers hate the truth, don't you, tturd packer.
Reports aren't evidence.
Last thing you want to do is make sense, eh, ya dumb cunt?
Keep plucking away, there's a first time for everything.
Not because of any real or perceived warming, in
fact, it is difficult to tell if the big yield per acre in
the grain harvests in the US is all due to improved
farming methods, equipment and chemicals, or if
a big part is due to increased CO2 concentrations,
I doubt if the farmers think warming is a factor,
just the right amount of moisture in both plowing,
growing and at harvest time is the big factor.
most lib-turd-retards get their science from press releases.
