I can't find any parent info for him, in the 1900 census, at age 17, he's
already on his own as a boarder with a family in Harnett, New Hanover Co,
NC. I did find reference to a few sources that might give you parent info
tho'.

Another researcher (hopefully it's not you) has a reference to the marriage
record for William and Hattie.

Maybe you could send for a copy, although if it contained parent info, you'd
think it would be entered in this tree.
