VATICAN CITY (Rueters) -- Father Guido Sarducci
and the Ed Conrad Fan Club have kissed and made up.

Sarducci, a long-time member, had been expelled
for criticizing the very interesting -- and undoubtedly very
true -- article that Ed wrote about "Jesus" being married
and probably having a few kid.

But, just a few hours after being kicked out of the very
popular Fan Club, the Holy Man came to his spiritual senses
and offered a pubic apology directly toEd by phone.
Then he placed a sizable classified ad confirming his
new-fpound opinion in L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican
newspaper, and a few newspapers in Italy.
"Yep, I realize that it's undoubtedly true and, for that,
I am deeply sorry to Ed Conrad and promise never to second-
guess him or the Fan Club in the future," Sarducci, who speaks
very little English, told Ed -- directly from his lips to Ed's ear --
in the call he made from a pay phone in the lobby of the Sistine
Chapel.
