I searching for brothers and sister of my Great Grandfather, who went to
USA. Their names when they lived in Norway was:
1. Petra Margrete Hansdatter Øye, b. 27. january 1854.
2. Johannes Bernhof Hansen Øye, b. 16. october 1857.
3. Kristian Oluf Øye, b. 1870.
I dont now where they stayed in USA.

They don't show up in the 1880 census under the surname "OYE", so they could
have immigrated later.

On 28.04.1880 Johannes B. H. Øie, age 22 from Overhalden left for Lanesboro,
Minn aboard the Nordtyske via Kristiania og Bremen
On 29.03.1882 Johanna M. Øie, a widow age 65 from Overhalden left for
Lanesboro, Minn aboard Hero
On 05.04.1888 Christian Øie, single age 25 from Overhalden left for
Rushford, Minn aboard Thingvalla via Christiania
On 07.06.1905 Petra M. Øie, single born1879 left Overhalden for Brandon,
Minn aboard Tasso
