Maybe a fresh set of eyes will spot this, since I still
can't ...

I need a HoH named either Lydia or Nathanial whose surname
begins with an HA* and ends with *son who is somewhere
between Kaskasia IL and Richmond VA on the 1840. Household
*ought* to include a male born ca 1823 and one born ca 1817.

Last seen in 1836 in Hamilton Co. Illinois. Next seen in
Tyler co WV in 1850.

Thanks.

I've got one possibility for you (searched, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio,
Kentucky and Virginia):

Nathaniel Harrison
Year: 1840; Census Place: , Jefferson, Ohio; Roll: 405; Page: 120

One that doesn't quite match with ages, but is in Hamilton County, OH:
Nathaniel Heralson (as indexed by ancestry):
Year: 1840; Census Place: , Hamilton, Illinois; Roll: 60; Page: 146

There were some that might be possibilities, and I can check them for
you if you'd like - the last names were Hasen and Hazen. There were no
results for a Lydia with a last name as you described.

Hmmmm... I'll have a look at Heralson ... the name I need
doesn't have an ascendor, but the microfilm I was trying to
read was too faint, even with light filters.

We can probably pass on Hasen and Hazen ... they're both 2
to 4 letters too short.

Thanks, Cathy!
