E-Publication of UNMARKED LIVES by Joanne Soroka

The LitvakSIG Online Journal is proud to announce the e-publication
of UNMARKED LIVES by Joanne Soroka which features six original art works.
Joanne Sorka, a textile artist, has over the past five years created
a solo touring show called UNMARKED LIVES which celebrates the ordinary people
who were her ancestors. The trips Ms Soroka took to the places her ancestors
came from, including Lithuania, further stimulated, inspired, and infused her
artistic creations.
As Joanne Soroka writes, "My quest has been to discover as much as I can about
my forebears and to celebrate their lives in my work. While I loved doing the
genealogy I wanted to take it a step further. We are all indebted to our
ancestors, but I wanted to tell the world about it."
