1850 New Jersey Census; William Reed

I would appreciate information about the family that included William Reed.
William's estimated year of birth is 1834. The family probably lived in or
near Chesterfield Township, Burlington County.

There are three possibilities for the William Reed you are seeking. The
are:

(1) 1850 U. S. Census, Chesterfield, Burlington, NJ
William Read, 19, b. abt 1831 NJ, Laborer
living with Charles and Harield Chafey family

(2) 1850 U. S. Census, Pemberton, Burlington, NJ
William Read, 10, b. abt 1830 NJ, Laborer
living with Charles and Tabillai Ewan family
There is also an Elizabeth H. Read, 18 living with the family

(3) 1850 United States Federal Census

Thank you very much for the timely response. I think that the first person
you
indicated may well be my great great grandfather.

I know that he married in Crosswicks, Chesterfield township, Burlington
County in January of 1853. Also, the 1860 census for Chesterfield township
indicated that he was 26 at that time. But I've found that indicated ages
are certainly
not consistent from census to census.

I'm almost certain that his last name should be spelled "Reed". My
grandfather, William Reed Lownie, was named after him. But the Read
spelling may simply have been a transcription error by the enumerator.
