checked google long time ago, they just have a reference to library of
congress

NY Library will copy thiers for $450.00

most libraries have the book in family history section with for onsite
viewing only

Winsconsin History Sociaty will send copy electronicly inter-library,
but I am rural and my library is not capable of recieving electronic
transfers.

Have you tried the NY *State* library? If you're a resident, their
fees are reasonable. [guess I should say *were* as I haven't done much
in 5-6 years]

Many libraries have volunteers that might be interested in helping you
out. Try a few calls & your best charm.

How many miles to the nearest library that does--- that also is in
co-operation with yours?

It has a 1980 copyright. How is that no longer covered? And why are
NYC library rules different than the rest of the country?

Thanks for the interest...

A researcher at the Allen County Library will copy for me at a
reasonable cost...

Basically as I understand since the book is a limited printing, and as
the author is deceased, and there is no other market available to
purchase the book, and the descendents have no interest in the book,
the copyright may be overlooked.

I'm shocked that a librarian takes that attitude.

Unless, by "the descendents have no interest in the book" they mean
that the descendants (or, more particularly, those that inherited the
copyright) have told them that copies may be made.
